I want to say, I'm not your mate, if I've never thought of rejecting my mate when I meet him, I would now. I can't imagine myself spending the rest of my life with a man like this who looks like the son of the devil, a mafia among shifters, there's no accurate word to describe the man standing before me now, if we were in the animal kingdom, I would say he's a lion, a fierce looking lion.

"Stand up!" He says in his deep voice, his eyes fixed rigidly on me, my legs shake underneath my weight. "I'm glad to have you with me." I exhale some air out, with frustration filling into me. How can I predict what would happen to me here?

"Who are you?" I'm forced to ask after a while. He bursts into a loud laughter, then he looks at me again. "I'm Alpha Conri, the prospective ruler of this pack, the Superclaw Pack." I gasp.

The Superclaw Pack is the largest pack with a population of over two million shifters, their wolves are the biggest, fastest and strongest among all werewolves. I'm so astonished right now, am I dreaming? I'm a mate to the Alpha of such a great pack but I heard that there was a controversy about his status, he was going to be a full Alpha and take the rulership of the pack once he found his mate. It had been some long distance story which I can't determine its level of accuracy.

"I'm not sure I'm your mate. Please release me. I want to go to my son, I want my son." My tears draw some pity from him, I observe his changing countenance, his fierce eyes are beginning to grow into a pale one.

"Don't worry your son is safe," he says in a cold voice. Then he carries me into his arms to the bed, my head arch, my spirit weak but my wolf is growling. He steadies me on the bed, caresses my body, I begin to feel a deep and strong emotional bond with him, tension which was fast building up in my chest starts to fade. "What's wrong?" Conri asks, demanding an answer to the statement he made some minutes earlier, his voice is gentle, he brushes my hands. I keep mute, he grows impatient. "Speak! Why aren't you answering my question?" I shiver in fear?

"I'm sorry but I'm not ready for this!" I say almost on the verge of tears. He sternly stares at me, I glance down in fright. I'm expecting him to rise and beat me up, forcing his way into me but no, instead of this, he caresses me slowly.

"I know all you've passed through but I'm sorry about those, just let them go. You know it's history." His start is full of compassion, then it culminates into sarcasm. I get dumbfounded at this, how did he just know I passed through some stuff in the past or what I'm thinking of right now in my mind.

"I..I don't.." I stammer, wanting to ask how he got to know I'm a survivor of some miserable occurrences. With the statement he just made, he has a clue of what happened to me in the past.

With a wave of his hand, he dismisses my question, making me stop halfway. "Let's face reality now." He presses me down against the bed, and before I release the next breath, he sinks his canines into my neck. My wolf growls in ecstasy as this takes place, he withdraws his teeth and begins to suck passionately on the spot. I feel a sharp pain on my neck, I take my hand to feel the spot but he brushes it off and continues to suck on it passionately.
