Chapter 2

Kayla's POV

I entered back into my car and drove out, just the way I came. I loved him so much and didn't want to lose him. My stepmom taking my place like that was a huge threat to me.

I also could not tell him about my pregnancy under such circumstances, so I kept the reveal to myself with the promise that as soon as everything went back to normal, it would be my first news to share.

I first thought about staying out for a while, but that would only make them bond better, so it wasn't a considerable option.

I racked my head as I drove, thinking non stop, how to quickly put my fake stepmom out of my husband's life.

The perfect plan soon struck me, or I thought it was the perfect plan.

I drove over to a pharmacy. “Do you have any sexually arousing pills?” I asked them. “We do.” The person at the counter said to me.

I bought it and left. It was powdery, but they assured me it was strong enough to put someone in the mood as short as five minutes after.

I took it straight home and there, I met Giorgia at the dining table, setting the table. I could see the fear and tension rise as she saw me coming. She wondered what I would do to her as Baron wasn't going to be here to save her this time. I wanted to get into bed with my husband and give him such a steamy, passionate sex, one thing he praised me for always and one thing that has been keeping him for the past three years we've been trying to conceive.

After the sex, he will be in a better mood, then I can share the news of my pregnancy to him.

I'm pretty sure when he hears this, he will think twice about letting me go.

I had to do anything, just anything, in anger and with obsession. I wouldn't let anyone have my man, my husband.

“Kayla, you have to understand that I would never try to take your husband from you. Nothing beyond the surface happened between us. I promise.” She tried begging me, but that wasn't what I was there for.

“Look, it really doesn't matter now. I just want to have dinner with my husband, alone. Now I'm back, I guess it's best you leave if you have nothing to do with him.” I issued her a stern warning. She was shocked at my seriousness.

“Okay, I'll leave right away. Please, I'm sorry.” She said as she left quickly.

I pulled the chair backward and had my seat. I made sure no one was close by, then sprinkled the drugs on Baron's food and mixed properly. Before he came out, I had already done everything I wanted to and returned to being normal.

He looked around, not so impressed.

“Where is Giorgia?” He asked. “She will be giving us a couple of times tonight.” I replied to him. Rather disappointed, he sighed and joined me at the table. I wanted Giorgia out so when the drugs began to have its effects, I will be the only woman he sees.

He began munching on the food , not saying a word to me, either about my health, or anything else. He just went on with the food with so much passion. Passion he has never shown while eating mine.

I had a few spoons of the food, and honestly could not tell if it was better.

In no time, he was done eating and just stood up and left. Even though I barely started eating my food, I had to go after him because when the urges kicked in, I wanted to be the one he saw, and not Giorgia.

“The house is unusually hot today.” I said as I pulled my shirt off and sat on the bed, with my boobs hanging out.

The air-condition was on and the house was never even an inch warm. Baron was a billionaire and these things weren't a problem, but I had to improve a seductive strategy.

I could feel his heart beat rising as he looked at me. He sat at the other end of the bed, looking at me closely, but unable to do anything. He wanted it. He needed it. His eyes said it all, desperate, dreamy and eager. His lips were slightly parted and quivering.

I went straight to him, cradling and kissing him. My hands were on his head, caressing it and trailing through his hair. His cock was already standing and very hardened, as if trying to burst out of his trousers.

He dug his lips into mine, kissing me furiously like his whole life depended on this. The kisses continued as he caressed my body. I really wanted him inside of me.

I placed him down on the bed and unzipped his trousers. How cock looked bigger than they always were. I guess it was as a result of the drugs he had.

I sucked him for a while and when he said was okay with that, he turned me over and pulled his shirt out, undressing himself and me very hurriedly.

We kissed for a while before he finally inserted his cock into me.

He went on and on, hitting me with all he had until he reached his peak and released his cum into me. It was a long sexual experience and we now cuddled, I was too exhausted to tell him this.

Perhaps in the morning!

I said to myself.

The next morning I woke up to find an empty space beside me on the bed. My heart skipped. He had already gone but one voice asked me to check him up in the house.

I caught up with him, he had already dressed up for work.

“Where are you going?” I asked him.

“Giorgio said she wants to go to the hospital, so I am going to drop her off.” He replied.

“Why? Hospital for what?” He sounded really suspicious here. “Besides, didn't I ask her to leave yesterday? Did she stay here overnight?”

“Yes,” Baron replied with no sign of remorse.

I furrowed my brows. “Why?”

“Because she is pregnant for me–” His voice sailed off smoothly, with such a low tone.

“Urrghh–”

“You said?” I was confused.

“You don't need to be confused, perhaps she will become our surrogate since I need a child so badly and you can't bear one for me.”

“Remember I'm a CEO and I need an heir.”

My lips mumbled for quite some minutes before I was able to bring up words. “Why didn't you tell me about thud before?” I asked. As if I'd let him.

“Sorry about that,” he snapped. “But if I did, you wouldn't allow it. I didn't want to create a problem between us. I was waiting for the right time to tell you.”

“Oh God–”

I hit my forehead several times, shutting my eyes so tight. I only wanted to surprise Jon but turned to the one being surprised instead.

What should I do? Oh God!!

“I wouldn't allow this as your wife, she has to have an abortion or I'll sue you in court for betraying me this way.” I threatened. I meant the first but the second was to make him agree to the first. I didn't want another woman to bear my husband's child when I was already pregnant.

Upon hearing this, his eyes darkened.

“You mean this?” He asked.

“Yes!” I nodded with all seriousness.

“Really?” He repeated his question.

“Yes!” I nodded even keeping a more serious face than before.

“It's fine. No issues.” He turned and left without saying anything further. To me, a ray of hope shone. I thought he's going to consider my request. I was already planning how to release my own good news after he must have come back with the news that Giorgia had aborted the baby and he had nothing to do with her again.

I stayed until evening, waiting for him to return from work. Upon his return, I ran to him, hugging him so tight as I was already expecting good news but he didn't hug me back. Next thing, he pulled out some papers.

“What's this for?” I asked him, confused.

“Our divorce agreement. Our marriage ends today. I've always wanted to get out of this fruitless marriage but decided to be patient with you, yet you crossed the line by boldly asking for the death of my child when you can give me none.” Baron said.

“Who said I can't give you a child?” I wept bitterly. “I was–”

He stamped his palm in the air. “No words from you. Just sign and leave. There's no need to keep two women. I need children, so I'll keep one that gives me that.” His face had become stiff like stone.

“I would rather be with Giorgia than you. Pack your things and leave tonight. I will give you three million dollars to start a life somewhere else, but as for us, it's over!”

I tried to beg him, but he didn't listen. “You can't give me what I want and yet you want Giorgia to terminate her pregnancy.” He repeated.

When I saw that there was nothing else that could be done, with my heart broken and shattered to the floor, I signed the papers and left, also hoarding the news of my pregnancy for him.
