Chapter 5

Alexa’s POV

"Let them touch you!" She says.

"Alexa," Dustin calls, walking up to me. Justin as well reaches out to me, his hand resting on my hip. I slowly lift my eyes from his hand on my lap to his eyes, I sense hunger, a burning desire for me which can't be quenched. When I thought it's only him, I shifted my gaze to his brothers. They each possessed that fire in their eyes.

"Since our mate died, we haven't had anything to do with any woman both outside and inside this house.” Dustin says.

“I wonder why our wolves want you this much!" Justin replies to him. His tone alone carries me away, making me want to blush.

It's such a special thing hearing the controllers of the Avalon Pack, the largest pack in the world, want me. According to fashion model magazines, they were considered the three most eligible bachelors in the world for eight consecutive years.

I can't hold my blush forever, I finally blush slightly as the tickling effects of having such hot guys around me trying to seduce me overwhelm me.

Next second, their hands begin to roam, my heart wants to rip off my chest as loud and hasty beats can be heard from my chest. I really don't realize when the sweetness of their hands fondling my body got to my head and I got completely soaked in passion.

Austin grabbed my waist gently, Justin spread my legs wider slowly, the tension in my core triples. My eyes locked gaze with his, his darkened, dull eyes tells me he's really gone far in his urge. Slowly I felt a hand drool over my shoulders, dropping on my right breast and one of his fingers directly on top of my nipple, quite hardened and protruding from my wet linen gown.

I look at him in shock but he sends more shock across my veins as his other hand travels to my hip, trailing fingers to the inside just a little bit away from my core.

"Gosh!" I shake my head, no longer able to withstand the pleasure that's coming from these hot guys.

"I thought you hated me?" I murmur at Dustin remembering how he treated me when I first met him. "This, because you promised your late mate never to--"

"What if you replace her?"

I gasp at Dustin's response, narrowing my eyes in surprise. Will I be able to handle these seven hot Alphas forever? My look gets laced with surprise seeing the seriousness about this from their faces.

I'm feeling this throbbing sensation in my core urging me to pull my legs wide open as these daddies are all surrounded, gazing into my eyes with their attention sweeping all over my body. Their chest bulges out, heaving heavily. I guess they themselves can't control their heartbeat. My eyes decrease down to their lower abdomen and then to their groin region.

Goddess!

I don't wanna think dirty!

But I'm already beginning to think dirty seeing their bulge protruding against their linen boxers. I shut my eyes tight.

“No, this isn't what I came here to do!”

I rose up from the couch about to escape this scorching view of me when two hands grabbed my arms firmly. I turn my head towards both sides of mine, narrowing my gaze at them. At least even if I can't recognize all of them at a first glance, I can tell Austin and Dustin, they are the ones grabbing my hands.

“Let me go!” I yell. I can't just let my emotions control me this way. I act like I don't wanna fuck them because this will portray me as being cheap. It's unimaginable being the sexual prey of seven hot Alphas. They will fuck me to my death with their muscular structure.

“Are you really rejecting us?” Dustin mutters, pointing his gaze to the floor. I smirk.

“Are you bigger than rejection? Aren't you the first to reject me?”

“When–when was that?” He stammers looking over to his brothers. I hiss, shaking my head.

“Anyway, I'm not ready to argue with you here. I just need you two to let go of me.” I really mean it when I say this, my emotions and my wolf are going south just because they are my mates but yet they haven't really started what they want from me. I can't just let them waste me as a sexual tool, then dump me for the women they will marry when they are ready.

“We can't let go of you, we know you want this but you're just denying it,” Austin cut in. The rest of his brothers grins, staring down at me with mischievous eyes.

“You know what I want right now?” I ask them, pulling my eyes towards them as I keep up with a frown on my face.

“I'm here to work and get the best recommendation so when I actually leave here, I'll land another great job. So please let me work.”

“Really? It's fine!” Dustin sounds like a little bit surprised and would want to still put in more pressure but his pride wouldn't let him. I know he's the one I wanted more but same pride wouldn't let him treat me when I told him about my crush for him.

“We'll never really bother you again!”

They walk away upon Dustin saying this.

“Speak for yourself, not for your brothers.” I hissed. I say this inside me, not wanting to create another conflict.

I walked over to the kitchen by the adjacent hallway to take a glass of chill juice and then stand over the floor-to-ceiling glass window looking over the beautiful scene below me. It's the central garden of the estate, filled with lovely ornamental plants and flowers of different varieties and colors.

The middle of the garden is decorated into a heart shape with the use of grasses, I have to believe these are naturally growing flowers. Perhaps there's something underneath the cover of the grasses for them to creep over. No natural plant would maintain such an accurate shape.

I guess I'm going to get down there and enjoy the sight see really well.

I take a deep breath as I recall that my work revolves around these seven Alphas and they might be up here looking at me from down there.

“Let me take a break now in my room. I'll visit here much later,” I say to myself, heading back to the kitchen to return the glass. From there I'll head to my room. Seeing the garden can be done much later, probably after the Alphas have gone occupied with other things and no one's attention is focused on me.

Louise must still be sleeping right now, since it's my work I decided to go check up on her in her room before going back to mine to have another nap. As I walk through the hallway, my mind sets into several things, my health condition and if these Alphas would let me work till I get the two hundred thousand dollars for my surgery. Then I switch to thinking about Louise. I can feel the motherly bond between her and I. There is nothing anyone can say to make me disbelieve that she's not my baby whom I gave out for adoption.

I arrived in her room, seeing her sleeping so peacefully. I walk over to arrange her hands well, patting her head and looking into her face with pity and sorrow.

“I feel guilty having to give you off for adoption to these seven crazy–”

Someone clears his throat behind me. I turn around swiftly to see who it is.

“Gosh!” I jerk my body up. Dustin is right there by the side of the door dressed in a white shirt and a pair of black trousers with a pair of luxury black shoes.

“What are you doing here? Why does it seem like you keep recurring. I see you everywhere I go?”

“Hmm,” he smirks, walking towards me on the bed. His dominating aura fills in through the room occupying my nostrils.

“Make sure you teach her when she wakes up,” he utters, speaking in an authoritative tone while flipping his right index fingers, kind of pointing his fist at me but not directly. I lower my brows, narrowing my eyes.

“Where are you going?” I decided to be a bit sarcastic. He didn't reply to my question with an answer but had to respond with an order. I have to do something similar.

His eyes turned stiff, looking directly at me. “You reply to my questions with a suitable answer. Who do you think you are to play back at me?” He growls.

“Dad, stop shouting at her.”

I immediately turn upon hearing this. Louise is actually awake. I grab her head, nudging it. “Don't worry, my daughter. Sleep! I can handle this.”

“You can handle what?”

I swallow the lump in my throat, as seconds ticks, I become more confused with Dustin's character. A moment ago, he was asking me to stay, now he's acting so rude.

I rise from the bed, dropping a kiss on Louise's cheek. I force a sweet smile. “I'll come see you later. I want you to sleep peacefully.” I say, laying her back to sleep and walking past Dustin without even gazing through his direction.

I feel a grab on my arm just as I'm about to pass him by. My breath stops, my heart ceases to beat.

What's going on?

“Did I ask you to leave without my permission?” His tone becomes a bit low and calm, yet still cold.

I want to raise my voice at him asking him to let me be and stop being a hypocrite but then I remember that Louise is lying right there on the bed. I keep my mouth shut, thinking of what to say next.

I blink my eyes several times, my heart fuming, then his left hand drops on my shoulder. His eyes drop on mine and his face comes closer.

“I don't need you here! I wish I never had you being the one coming to take care of Louise.”

“Upon saying I have a health challenge I need money for?” I utter to myself, tears forming in my eyes. I sniff in, trying to hold back the tears from dropping.

“You are going to accompany me for my fan meet.”

“What?”

“Do you see me as your maid?” I rant, shaking my face. Louise jerks up from the bed out of shock. As she's about to step out of the bed, I rush towards her, patting her and urging her to go back to sleep.

“I heard you sleep three hours in the afternoon after school. It's not yet up to three hours.”

“Please sleep back!”

“Mom, I can't sleep with you shouting here! I don't want you two to shout at each other.” Her face twists, her eyes fall upon the ground. More of her anger I could see is prior to disturbing her from her peaceful sleep, my face engulfs in guilt as I lower my gaze to the floor, tucking a strand of hair behind my hair.

“Do you think that's the perfect way for a child?” Dustin asks, leaning towards my ear.

“We are your bosses here, me and my brothers. If you love yourself and your job, come for your punishment.” I drift backward but he grabs my wrist, dragging me out of the room.

“Keep on sleeping baby, we are sorry for disturbing you. We wouldn't do that again.” He pleads, taking me out but only then do I realize the effect of his statement. What punishment is he talking about? My heart beats quicker than usual, I look up to him but he doesn't say a word, his face points straight towards where we are going. He's so serious that I can't even ask what he's going to do to me.

We walk up to the living room, as the door opens, my eyes set on his six brothers who were all dressed, no longer shirtless. I look up and they are watching a live sports program.

Rising From Ruin: The Discarded Heiress Novel Cover

I woke up in a sterile hospital room, my body feeling like a hollowed-out shell. For fifteen years, I had been the "spare part" of the wealthy Kensington family, a foster child kept only as a biological resource for their golden daughter, Jenna. My adoptive mother, Kathryn, walked in with a cold-eyed doctor, discussing me like an old car needing parts. They were planning another bone marrow "harvest" for the next morning, even though the doctor admitted the procedure was risky because my body hadn't recovered from the last extraction. "Passable is fine," Kathryn said, waving away the danger to my life like she was swatting a fly. "Just get it done. It's her only value." Jenna arrived in a wheelchair, putting on a performance of fragile sisterly love while actually glowing with health from the blood I had given her months ago. I watched as the doctor callously jabbed a needle into my arm, missing the vein on purpose, before turning off my pain medication pump as a final act of petty cruelty. They left me there to rot, convinced I was just a dull, submissive girl with nowhere to go. I lay in the silence, feeling the weight of every scrap they’d fed me and every hand-me-down I’d worn while Jenna lived in luxury. I realized I was never a daughter to them; I was an organ farm meant to be drained until I was empty. But as the door clicked shut, the fog of sedation in my brain finally lifted, replaced by a cold, predatory stillness. "Oracle," my mind whispered. "Online." I ripped the IV from my arm and escaped into the night, turning a five-dollar piece of junk into a six-million-dollar fortune in the city's darkest underground markets. By the time I returned to the Kensington Manor, I wasn't the useless foster girl they remembered—I was a predator with a massive bank account and a plan to take back everything they stole from me.
