Chapter 2

ANGEL

Dinner was tense, Daddy sat at the head of our long pristine dining table as usual.

Jillian perched next to him, dressed in a red condom dress that showed the shape of her huge bréasts.

I have always been pissed by how truly attractive she was. Jillian had an exotic model-like face, her títs were huge, her waist was tiny and her àss was round.

She was womanly and sultry in a way that made me feel like a little girl compared to her.

I always felt bitter and jealous each time she was this close to daddy, touching him like she owned him, but not right now, I couldn't be fully jealous when the remnant of adrenaline still throbbed heavily in my veins.

I focused on my plate, I had no appetite for my favourite steak, and I was unable to meet anyone's eyes, especially not his.

Daniel's.

My fingers were trembling, the air felt too thick. I couldn't breathe, my nostrils hurt, my lungs were burning.

The silence of the large dining room felt like a sound itself, drumming in my ears and making my heart beat faster. And faster, ticking like the grandfather clock on the high wall of the dining room.

Was Daniel going to report me to Daddy? What was Daddy going to think of me if his friend told him about how he walked in on me, my shorts to my ankles, Daddy's boxers clutched around my pússy and me móaning out his name?

And the worst part? Seeing Daniel on that door, my órgasm had exploded from me, he'd watched me cúm, seen the rush of wetness that trailed down my pússy, my glistening fingers pumping in and out and the way my toes curled around the sheets.

Daniel had stood there watching me behave like the slút of the century. I had wanted to make a point to him. I thought if he could hear me móaning daddy's name, then he would stop looking at me with those terrifying intense lusty eyes of his.

How foolish I had been, now I was under his mercy. My fate lies on whether he spoke or not.

I could imagine the disappointment in Daddy's eyes if he knew what his good girl had been doing and it sprang tears to my eyes which I blinked back.

I could feel a stare burning into my head like heated torches, I didn't have to look to know it was Daniel.

When I lifted my head slightly, I discovered that I was right, his grey eyes were studying me, his face didn't reveal any emotions, but those eyes, a grey so bright that it seemed like he was blind were watching me thoroughly. My skin prickled with goosebumps, he was not touching me, but I already felt violated, when his eyes dropped to my chest, I felt my nípples tighten in response. It wasn't aróusal, just fear, I told myself.

I gulped, chewing my food slowly but it got stuck in my throat, I knew he could tell I was nervous, and he was intentionally making it worse by looking at me like this.

"Angel, how is your college application going?" Daddy broke the silence, his deep raspy voice made me squeeze my legs together.

No, I couldn't be aróused now, not when Daniel was watching me, probably taking in all my reactions.

But daddy was just so hot that I felt myself becoming slick with want anyway, his black sleeves rolled neatly to reveal thickly muscled tattooed forearms.

Two buttons of his crisp black shirt had been left undone, giving me a brief glimpse of a hairy chest. A chest I wanted to bury my face into.

I licked my dry lips and then realized that Daddy was still waiting for an answer while I was staring like some idíot. His eyes were a midnight black, his hair was jet black which he kept shortly trimmed. His nose was strong and straight, and the curve of his jaw could slice diamonds, the stubble of beard on his chin made him sexíer than hell.

Fúck, I was still staring.

I cleared my throat "I picked nearby colleges, but I'm yet to get any feedback,"

Of course, I only picked the closest university choices because I wanted to be as close to him as possible.

"Actually dear, your father and I have something to tell you," Jillian's hateful voice spoke for the first time, her manicured red painted nails gripping Daddy's strong-looking fingers.

I gazed at her to see those red lips stretched in a smile, my stomach clenched with unease, I could already tell that whatever it was that she had to say, I wasn't going to like it.

"After much thought your father and I came to a decision, we are going to send you abroad to further your education,"

Her words sat like a bomb in my chest. One second. Two seconds. And then it fúcking exploded.

The fork clattered from my hands to the floor, my head snapped from Jillian to daddy who was watching me closely, those midnight black eyes that I used to love were firm with determination as though he already knew how I was going to react and he wasn't going to change his mind about it.

"I'm not going anywhere!" My voice was high and shrill, echoing in the large dining room.

My chin tilted stubbornly as my eyes snapped to Daniel who was taking a sip of his red wine, his Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed. Was it him?

Was he the one who told Daddy to send me away?

I glared at him accusingly until Daddy's deep voice snapped me out of it.

"Baby girl, I am only thinking the best for you, business has been dangerous these days. I may not be able to protect you all of the time, it's safer for you to be abroad, didn't you always want to visit Europe?" Daddy said calmly while I shook my head.

If there was anyone who could protect me, it was him.

Only him.

And now, Europe has turned into the most hateful word in my vocabulary.

"No Daddy, I'm not going anywhere, I'm not schooling abroad, if you want me to go anywhere then you must come with me! You know I don't like going anywhere without you," I glared at him with glassy eyes.

Jillian rolled her eyes, grasping Daddy's arm. "See, I knew she was not going to be reasonable, you've spoiled her rotten, now she is being a brat..."

"Jillian, enough!" Daddy cautioned her, Jillian smiled at me again, her eyes filled with malice.

But it was Daddy's next words that shattered my heart.

"You're leaving next week, that's final!" He spoke in that commanding tone that is usually reserved for his subordinates.

He told her I was just a "boring art piece display stand" he had to drag around until his trust fund was unlocked. I didn't scream or make a scene.
