Chapter 6

DENNY:

He pulled me forward, and with a single shove, I landed hard on the chair. Then, he slid his finger into my mouth. His thumb tasted faintly of smoke-bitter, raw and invasive.

He twirled it against my tongue, and I held his gaze, reading the steam in his eyes, feeling the slow burn of dominance. I could bite him, but let him enjoy it.

He shut his eyes, moaning softly, clearly aroused by the thought of his dîck in my mouth.

That was my chance. A perfect moment to stain his ego.

I kicked his knee. He stumbled, grunting from the impact, and collapsed on both knees in front of me, his jaw smacking against my thigh.

He writhed in pain while I remained seated, smug and satisfied.

"Now, you've got a jaw to fix, too," I said, grabbing a fistful of his hair and tugging his face up to mine. "And you'll fix them yourself!"

I leaned in, about to headbutt him-but he was faster. With a swift jerk, he slammed his head into my jaw. I yelped and toppled backwards, groaning as pain bloomed through my skull.

Before I could recover, he'd already wrapped his belt around my wrists, yanked me back into the chair, and bound my hands tightly behind me.

"Now, you've got a lot to pay for," he growled, unzipping his trousers and pushing his underwear aside.

He was thick... massive and fully aroused.

His length pressed against my lips, demanding entry. I kept my jaw tight, but he was determined.

With his dîck pushing harder onto my lips, my mouth opened, and he went all in. "Don't dare use your teeth, Denny, or I will snap your neck."

He would. It wasn't a threat. It was a promise.

He gripped my head and began thrusting in and out of my mouth, diving deep into my throat, choking me with every stroke. He wasn't just tormenting me; he was relentless. Just like he said he'd be.

He was enjoying himself. Thoroughly. When he wasn't staring into my dazed, flickering eyes, he had his head thrown back-moaning, smiling, completely lost in the moment.

And the truth? I was enjoying it, too. Even if part of me felt small under his control. Even if I hated how much I craved it. I loved how his cock felt both fleshy and rough on my tongue.

Then suddenly, he jerked me off the chair and shoved me hard against the wall. He pinned me chest-first, one arm pressing into my back as the other fumbled at the button of my jeans.

"Don't...Jaden..." I groaned, struggling against his grip.

"I know you want this," he said, ripping my trousers and underwear down to my ankles. "You are burning up, Denny. You made me this way."

He wasn't wrong. I was leaking, thick and wet with pre-cûm, my body betraying every ounce of resistance.

Out of the corner of my eye, I watched him wet his palm with his saliva and reach between butt, spreading it over my hole.

"I will kill you..."

"You are welcome to try," he murmured, his breath hot against my ear.

He gripped himself and slid into me in one unrelenting push, breaking past every shield I had left. My posture buckled. My voice cracked. My Alpha composure shattered.

"Shît, Denny," he groaned through gritted teeth. "You are so tight. Was I your first?"

"I fvcking hate you, Jaden."

"And I'll fvcking devour you until you never forget my name is Jason," he snarled, thrusting harder. "Say it. Say my name."

"Bâstârd!"

************

I woke up with my body screaming.

My throat was sore. My back ached. My butthole...I couldn't even describe the pain, and yet, the worst part wasn't physical. It was the fact that I let Jay touch me. That he got to me. He had marked me. That somewhere, in all that sceneplay, I had wanted it...even if just for a second, I enjoyed it. He satisfied me.

I stared at the ceiling of my room, trying not to relive it, the push, the pressure, the scent of him. My skin still carried his imprint. My mind replayed every second on a loop I couldn't break.

I couldn't forget it, especially the moment he took the chair and made me ride him, with my hands bound and his hands holding me down, guiding me to release.

"Get out of it," I hissed at myself, throwing the blanket off.

I dragged myself to the mirror. Looking at myself...ruined, raw, and pretending to be Alpha when he couldn't even protect himself.

Shît me.

School felt like enemy territory. Every hallway could be a battlefield. But when I saw Jay? That battlefield lit up with something else...fire. And not the burning kind you run from.

The kind you want to touch.

He was leaning against a glass window, laughing with his crew. A devil dressed in daylight, like the sky itself had fallen just to make room for him.

He saw me. I tried to look away, but he was already behind me before I blinked.

"You taste better than you fight," he whispered, breath grazing my ear like a sin.

I stiffened, fists clenched.

"No," he said, voice mocking. "Don't burn up. If you do, you excite me. And if I get excited, I don't know what will happen in a stall with you against the wall."

That was incited on purpose. And he succeeded because I stood wondering which of the restroom stalls would contain us.

Jesus, Denny!

I should hate him. I do.

But that night, I couldn't sleep. All his words about the stall lingered in my head like a toddler with nursery rhymes.

I stared at the box beneath my bed, holding my wig, makeup and heels...the only part of myself that could make me forget anything.

But not anymore. I can't go to the bar yet. Not when Jay is out to confirm his point.

Walking out of my room to grab a glass of water, I met my father with members of the Union talking in his study. I recognise them because one of them is my father's cousin.

I hid to eavesdrop. They said a lot of things, but the one thing that put me into a pool of thoughts was the news that Jay had killed his ex-mate, an Omega, and her lover, an Alpha, and now, the Union are here to apprehend him.

They had intel that he frequents a bar downtown, and would be going after him tonight.

Jay would be there. He had bragged about finding out the connection between Becky and me, and to do that, he'd go to the bar now, and every night.

That serves him right. He should be captured and dealt with for his sins, right?

If yes, then why am I jumping out of my window, racing to the bar with no footwear?

I had been a wife for exactly six hours when I woke up to the sound of my husband’s heavy breathing. In the dim moonlight of our bridal suite, I watched Hardin, the man I had adored for years, intertwined with my sister Carissa on the chaise lounge. The betrayal didn't come with an apology. Hardin stood up, unashamed, and sneered at me. "You're awake? Get out, you frumpy mute." Carissa huddled under a throw, her fake tears already welling up as she played the victim. They didn't just want me gone; they wanted me erased to protect their reputations. When I refused to move, my world collapsed. My father didn't offer a shoulder to cry on; he threatened to have me committed to a mental asylum to save his business merger. "You're a disgrace," he bellowed, while the guards stood ready to drag me away. They had spent my life treating me like a stuttering, submissive pawn, and now they were done with me. I felt a blinding pain in my skull, a fracture that should have broken me. But instead of tears, something dormant and lethal flickered to life. The terrified girl who walked down the aisle earlier that day simply ceased to exist. In her place, a clinical system—the Valkyrie Protocol—booted up. My racing heart plummeted to a steady sixty beats per minute. I didn't scream. I stood up, my spine straightening for the first time in twenty years, and looked at Hardin with the detachment of a surgeon looking at a tumor. "Correction," I said, my voice stripped of its stutter. "You're in my light." By dawn, I had drained my father's accounts, vanished into a storm, and found a bleeding Crown Prince in a hidden safehouse. They thought they had broken a mute girl. They didn't realize they had just activated their own destruction.
