Chapter 3

Velvet's POV

I sat on the dining chair opposite his, his eyes were on me, too much I dropped my gaze on the table, then on my boobs only to flare.

I wore no bra and my crop top was slightly transparent, so light anyone could see my standing nipples. Droplets of the water pressed the surface of my top showing my skin.

"Ahh-"

I rose up quickly, crossing my arms over my boobs.

"Where are you going?"

"I–" My face roamed around. I watched his brows arch.

"Aren't you up to eighteen?"

I went speechless.

"I mean–"

"I-"

My lips clasped shut, my brain off.

I looked ruined.

Fucked.

"Let's get to eat." He said, setting the plates of pasta, fruit salad, turkey soup appetizer and egg sauce. He pulled out the water from the tray.

I watched nowhere else except for his veiny hands, his muscular body, shown under his fitting T-shirt. My eyes dropped to his downstream, his sexy, carved out thighs showing off with his short black pants.

I gulped in saliva checking out his midst, his bulge was already curving out. I sat here, fork in hand, food already scoped but couldn't take it to my mouth because I'm literally gawking and my heart is throbbing.

"We ought to take him." My wolf whispered to my ear.

I sat upright immediately with a sudden reaction, the fork dropping. Legs spread wide.

He's up, glaring at me with a cold yet puzzled gaze.

"What's going on?"

His eyes lingered downwards. Curiosity struck it. I followed his eyes, slowly.

Boom.

On my thighs. In between n my legs. They were wide apart.

"Don't you wear panties?" His hoarse voice rang out, deep, seductive, creating a ripple in my core.

My legs froze for that second. Or do I say, they went numb and couldn't move. Instead of closing, they went wider. Reflex.

Sighs.

I felt this naughty, wanting him to have a longer peep into it but my head jerked up, my hand hitting my forehead.

"I–I'm sorry." I stammered.

"No! No! It's fine. You don't have to be worried."

"You're an adult now."

Guess this is the second time he's repeating this sentence?

I swallowed the lump in my throat, facing down and slowly pulling my legs closer, trying hard to hide the blush that was surfacing. I slapped my cheeks, twisting my face to suppress the redness.

"I–I'm grateful." I muttered, raising my eyes only slowly up to check out his reaction.

Those eyes, they persisted, cold yet filled with deep lust.

"Let's eat, I have to go to the office soon."

My brows ached.

"Office?" I muttered as a matter of shock. "Why?"

"Why?" He dragged in a rather flirty style, too long for a question.

Hell no!

I came to my senses. I'd thought he's my new stay-at-home fuck body and acquaintance. He's the Alpha and has to take the affairs of his pack seriously.

I hope he will take me seriously as well.

"I didn't mean that," I uttered. "I mean you don't have to be serious about me."

Urgh?

What am I saying?

I shook my head, grabbing my chest. I've embarrassed myself more than I should.

Each time I look, those cold, hard, flirty eyes are staring at me, killing me with its seduction on one end and on the other showing no emotions, making me look naive and stupid.

I sprang up, lowered my gaze.

"I–I wish to use the convenience." I whispered, dashing off before he could even say a word.

Once inside the general convenience located down the hall, I shut the door, walking over to the sink before the mirror. I stamped my hand on the white sink, pressing onto it, my head lowered, shaking furiously with shame and curiosity.

What will he be thinking of me?

A slut?

Will he tell my father that I'm trying to seduce him?

My heart was beating at an alarming rate especially at the last thought. My wolf tried to soothe and console me but I scolded it.

"You made me do this. I wasn't supposed to do this."

This is my dad's best friend. Nothing happens without him sharing it with my dad. They are close paddies and if this gets to my dad, he will come and take me back.

"I have to go and apologize to him." I came to a decision.

"Hell no!" My wolf, Luna, scolded.

"Why will you do that?"

"Because I don't want him to tell my dad." I screamed so hard, turning swiftly and opening the door only to bump into a hard chest by the hallway, just close to the door.

The life in my body came to a stand-still at that very moment. I lifted my face slowly from the rock-hard chest to see a military green T-shirt.

My mind flashed back.

This is what he wore.

It rang in a low tone in my ear.

My eyelashes bashed countless times. Slowly hands glide up my sides. I remained still, pressed towards his chest. I wanted to jerk up but my wolf won't let me get off.

His scent washed down on me, alluring and gripping my attention.

I wished to remain in this position forever.

"Did you hear me?" I stammered after a few minutes.

"Urghh?" He pretended not to hear what I said. Then said a "Yes."

"But you don't have to be scared. We're both adults and I wouldn't report this to your dad."

I let out a deep breath off my lungs but still I couldn't believe him.

What if he's trying to soothe me here and would go ahead to do something else?

"Can I–"

I lifted my face. "Can I bribe you with something?"

My body vibrated with an intense fucking-urge wave.

"What's that?" He pulled me gently off, glaring down at me but his hands never left me.

I gulped.

I wondered if I was doing the right thing.

"You wanna fuck me?" He shot out straight even before I got to say out those words my lips were forming.

He got my secret at the tip of his finger nails, there was nothing to do other than accept.

I nodded.

His lips curled into a long grin.

My head lowered. He leaned towards me, face close to brushing against mine. His strong, alluring breath heavy on my face.

My heart was thumping.

Is this the answer to my prayer?
