“I’ve missed you babe, you know i love it when you’re in my arms” he trails kisses down my next as I stand that at war with myself.
My broken heart wants to cry out but my body misses him.i give in to his touch as his hands trail down my body, I give in. Enjoy it just for the night, I told myself.
The next day i called my lawyer and narrated everything to him when he was out, he listened with patience. He said i could get a divorce and Liam would be walking away without a single penny.
I smiled, I can’t wait to see him uprooted from the life I had introduced him too.
“I want a divorce” I blurted out to him when he came back, my bags packed.
“A divorce? Why?”
“I want a divorce Liam”
“Babe, is everything alright? Why would you want a divorce, we have a happy home here”
“A happy home?” I let out a sinister laugh “does that include you screwing my friend? Is she part of the “home”?
His face pales and he becomes desperate “Babe, I don’t know what love told you but nothing is going on between us, she’s a liar”
“You make me laugh, my lawyer will be in touch with you”
He tries to grab me but my driver was quick to protect me from him, pushing him as he stumbles back loosing his footing and falling down on his ass. He must have heard the commotion and came up to check what was happening.
“Are you okay miss” he asked concern over his face as he searches me for injury.
“I’m fine Kane, thank you”
I turned and faced Liam “ you can go be with Love for all you want now but if you think you can harm me then you’ve got another thing coming your way. One more thing, I’ll see to it that you’re stripped of everything. This act would be your downfall”
With that I turned and walk away, the sound of wheel carts trolling behind me. I cried at the years i wasted with him, I regretted meeting him and giving my heart to him. I cried as the rain washed away my sorrows with it.
A new woman would be formed after this, not the weak one that left everything to Liam she thought to herself. What she didn’t know was that love had shown AI images of her to Liam, he thinks she cheated on him with a random man.
As I stared out the window as images of us clouds my mind, how i had rejected Rowland who was my best friend who had wanted me. Rowland was a perfect match for me, his family were powerful and respected. I had only rejected the offer because i wanted something different.
My phone began to ring, I looked at the caller and my blood boiled. I just pray she wasn’t about to beg me for money…again.
“Hi dear!” Her annoying voice came through immediately i picked up the call.
“Hi” I questioned waiting for her to say why she called, didnt her son tell her about the divorce?
“Madeline dear, how are you”
“I’m okay” I replied already loosing my patience.
“Can you lend me some money? I promise to return it to you soon” she never does
I saw red, like mother like son. All they every care about is money money money.
“I don’t have any money to give to you, maybe you should call your cheat of a so. If he has the strength to dip his cock somewhere else, he should have the strength to provide the money his mom badly needs. By the way, we’re getting a divorce, it would be in your best interest to not call this line again”
“Oh dear, I’m so sorry you have to go through this but I promise you he wasn’t raised that way. Dont let this ruin your marriage Madeline, all men cheat just forgive him and move past this please”
“Not all men cheat, my Dad was a devoted man to my mom before she passed, that your Dad and son cheats does not mean that everyone does”
I hung up the phone and threw it across the seat “ what does she mean that all men cheat? What does she mean by that?” Good riddance she thought to herself.
“Good night, Kane” I say to the driver as I got into the house.
I suddenly felt grateful to my Dad for taking the time to build a fortune. When I got into the house, I showered and layed on tge bed leaving tomorrow to what it brings.
I woke up to noise and banging doors, i search the room looking for where the noise were coming from before men in black and guns storm my room, their guns and light flashing at me.
“Freeze! You’re under arrest, everything you say or do will be used against you in the court of law”
What was going on? I sit up puzzled, my eyes trying to adjust to their light. My house help was behind them calling out to me worried.
“Hands on your head now!” another yelled and I did as I was instructed.
It was wise to obey and find out what was going on at the station and not argue with them here while they were pointing guns at my face.
They bundled me like some criminal and walked me downstairs to the back of their car like some criminal.
“Call Kane and tell him what is going on here” I about out to Isabel
“Okay Ma”
They drove me to the station and kept me in a room, cameras were everywhere.
“Are you aware of the wire transfer that was made from your account last night?” The officer sitting down asked
“Transfer? Can someone tell me what the hell is going on here! First you barge into my house and treat me like a criminal and here you are asking me about a transfer
