Chapter 5

I had to follow him, watching his every movement, studying his every routine and the places he visited. I got to know about his favorite gym where he goes to workout and the restaurant

He visited when he wanted to meet people to eat or just to sit in quite.

That was when I strike, i dressed up that evening in a fancy dress I got that coat a fortune. My makeup laid to perfection and a perfume a man couldn’t resist.

I waited for him to stand up to leave before I walked by him, tripping on purpose and falling on my knees right beside him.

He had carried me up and rushed me to the hospital staying beside me till I get better even when I told him he could go, he refused saying it was his responsibility. The rest they say is history.

We got to the house and showered ready for bed, he kissed me on the lips ready to initiate intimacy but I turned.

“Not now, Noah. Soon, just give me some more time”

“I don’t know how long I can wait for you Roseline” he murmurs holding me tight across the waist.

“Just a little bit, please”

We went to bed afterwards as he nuzzled his nose into my hair, inhaling me. I could feel his cock hard behind my ass as he tries to steady his breathing.

“I’m sorry you had to go through this Noah” I whisper to myself as tears roll down my eyes.

My alarm beebs as I woke up, putting it off. I didn’t want Noah to stir, he needed his sleep, he was exhausted.

I glance at the time and it read 5:30, I got up and put on my gym wears and running shoes.

I walked out the room down the stairs, grabbing my water can from the fridge before I began to run. I love it when the air cut through my nostrils, my mind concentrating on nothing else but the run.

I didn’t take my usual route, i wanted something different so I just ran. My feet took me to the ocean and I stopped out of breath staring at the rising of the sun over the ocean,it is beautiful.

My feet were sore from the running so I bent down to remove them, I also wanted to feel the ocean through my feet. When they were safely tucked away, I walked into the ocean.

Memories of my old life wash through me. Memories of Dad teaching me to swim, his laughter and the way he had called out my name while I ran through the sea shore.

I miss him, I stay in the water as I wrap my hands around me letting myself bask in the memories before a voice called out to me.

I turned and there she was, Love. “Hi! Roseline, right?” She questioned as she approached me.

I nod my head before I speak, making sure my voice were steady. “Yeah….do I know you?” I asked her innocently and confused as I brushed off a strand of hair off my face.

“You probably don’t, i was at your engagement last night”

“Really? Don’t mind me please, there were a lot of people there I could barely keep up with the faces.

“It’s fine, I totally understand” she replied brushing it off. “I don’t know how this is going to sound to you but I and the girls are preparing a tea party later today and we were looking for one more person, I saw you over there and decided to come invite you incase you were interested “

“A girls hang out? Count me in! We ladies gotta support each other”

“Really? I knew you would be cool, thank you so so much. I love forward to seeing you later, Roseline”

She gave me her contact and the address to the place before she turned and walked away, continuing her morning walk.

Here I was think about how I was going to get in but she just handed me the perfect opportunity all because of social climbing, classic Love.

I got back to the house and Noah was already out, he dropped a note for me. I picked it up and read it, “I had to rush off to the company, I’ll see you soon. Kisses, I love you Rose. Ps. call the wedding planner so we can be up to date, the wedding is in a month, don't want to miss anything out”

I smiled and dropped the note on the bed and got into the shower to wash off the sweat. I got out and went to the kitchen to make pancakes, i love them so much. I packaged some for Noah to drop off at the company on my way to meet the ladies.

The morning was a blur and it was time for me to go, I made sure to look really nice wearing the most luxurious dress i owned, and putting my hair in a really nice way.

I adorned myself with expensive jewellery and stared at the mirror, I looked beautiful. I put on my silhouette heels and grabbed my Louis Vuitton bag and walked down, swaying my hips as I did and making sure I had the right posture.

I grabbed the package meal from the counter and walked out instructing the driver to take me to the company, I dropped off the food and we headed to the address love had given me.

The house was beautiful, could this be theirs? Perhaps they built something else.

Love approached the car as we parked, I smile sweetly at her as I got down from the car.

“Hi! I’m so glad you could make it”

“I wouldn't miss unit for anything”

“Thank you” she replied and kissed both my cheeks. The ladies are inside waiting.

I smiled and followed her while I studied it, she was more beautiful now. Inside the house, were women of different backgrounds. They all dressed to impress, I felt them size me as I walked in.

“Ladies! This is Roseline, our new member. She’ll be joining us henceforth for our hangout”

“Hi Roseline, you’re welcome” they chorused

The tea party soon began and we drank some tea discussing the weather before the cups were taken away and the gossip rolled in.

“I can’t believe she stole that woman’s husband” one of them gasped, they were talking about the town gossip.

“Me too” I drawled “I think Love would know more about that” they all turned towards her as she stared at me, the color draining from her face. Not yet, my love.

“I mean, I heard you used to be close to her at some point” I continued smiling at her brightly.

“Oh, yes! We were once closed” she laughed nervously before she stood up and walked to the kitchen.

“Roseline! Could you please help me over here”

“Sure! Hold up, I’m coming!”
