His human slave: Owned by the Lycan king Chapter 1

Reena's POV

"Get out human!" Rocknok barked and I stepped out of the basement. the bright sunlight stung my eyes, forcing me to shield them with my palm.

Here I am, being led like the slave I am, to God knows where. My eyes gradually adjusting to the sunlight.

My punishment seems to be over, but I'm not really sure. This basement was so dark, I can't even tell if it's night or day.

And Judging from the time I've been down there, it seems I haven't been there that long. So why the sudden release?!

This got me feeling uneasy because I have no idea what's coming next, but I can say one thing for sure, it won't be anything good.

"Move your ass, you idiot!" Rocknok growled, shoving me ahead as he took me to Roxanne, his boss of course.

Looking ahead I got a glimpse of her-the insufferable witch, perched like a queen on one of the chairs, flaunting her arrogance.

I crave nothing more than to wipe that cocky grin off her face. Since the day I was dumped in this hellhole, she has made my life a nightmare.

"Oh look, it's the outcast!" one of the omega girls sneered, but I couldn't quite make out who it was because my vision was a bit blurry at the moment.

Being locked in a basement for days with nothing to eat or drink, but just darkness surrounding you, isn't the best treatment.

When we finally reached Roxanne, Rocknok shoved me down right in front of her. "Here she is Roxanne." he said to her.

I raised my gaze to her and, through my hazy vision, caught a glimpse of her ugly face; it has been several days since I last witnessed that familiar pout.

"Put that head down bitch!" She screamed and rose up once she noticed my upturned face, brutally slamming my face into the dirt with her foot and pinned me there.

"You don't get to look at me, you see where your head is, that's how low you're to me," she snapped and flipped her hair back.

She took her foot away, kicked me aside. I rolled and hissed in pain.

Weak from being starved for days and now this, I felt utterly drained and on the verge of passing out.

It appears they may have overlooked the fact that I am not one of them and that I could be vulnerable to even the slightest of challenges.

Roxanne turned to Rocknok, asking, "Is she the last one?"

"Yes, now we've gotten enough hands," he remarked. With their backs to me, they carried on with their conversation.

After a brief discussion, they turned around, "Alright, gather her with the rest of the slaves, and let's proceed to the hall," Roxanne commanded.

Rocknok yanked me up and dragged me over to the group.

I was put together with other enslaved individuals, many of whom were omegas or captives from vanquished packs.

We were led to a seemingly deserted structure, which appeared to have been neglected for quite some time.

Upon entering, we found ourselves in a hall that was marked by neglect, with dirt and dust settling over the surfaces, accompanied by an abundance of cobwebs.

"Listen up! What you need to do here is to tidy this place up. This room has to be spotless for a meeting tonight," Rocknok growled.

"Yes sir!" we all replied, none dared to complain.

Pacing back and forth in front of us, he warned, "I won't tolerate slacking off or any mistakes! If you do, there will be no dinner for you tonight, and I won't hesitate to impose even worse consequences! Do I make myself clear?" he demanded in a piercing tone.

"Yes, sir," we all responded.

"Now get to work." After he gave the instructions, he stepped out to meet Roxanne.

She didn't come in with us because the place was just really filthy. We got handed some cleaning equipment which wasn't even in good shape. It was kind of a mess all around.

Sighing, I grabbed a broom and headed to a corner to start cleaning.

Just when I was getting into it, I felt a hard kick from behind and i went down face-first on the dirt floor. Everyone burst out laughing.

"Get out of the way, bitch!" Tyler, the head of the bully gang shouted at me, I sat up and gave him a glare that could kill.

"Oh, look at that, the little human wants to fight back. Don't you dare give me that look!" he said, irritated.

He approached me and delivered a kick to my stomach. I flipped over, and the laughter grew even louder.

Yeah, it's kind of funny in a messed-up way. My pain actually makes them happy, what a messed-up world I am in.

"I'm sorry," I didn't mean to say that; I just wanted to get him off my back because I know I'm no match for him. But it just seems to make him even angrier.

As he moved close to me again, Sable stepped in front of him. "Tyler, that's enough," he said, arms spread to stop his advancement.

"And who are you? Oh wait, it's Sable-her knight in shining armor."

Tyler grabbed his shirt and smacked him on the head. Holding his jaw steady, he said to him,

"You just love to stick your nose where it doesn't belong don't you? Alright, let me show you what that gets you. "Boys!" he called out.

His gang came up, seized Sable and started beating him up.

"No, please stop!" I shouted because there's no way he stands a chance against them-he's just an Omega.

While this was happening, Tyler came to me and crouched down. Pulling my hair back, he said to my face, "Humans like you should be eliminated; your stench turns my stomach."

He yanked me up and was about to toss me across the room when Rocknok walked in with more slaves.

"What's going on here?" he barked. "Tyler, put her down this instant!"

He finally let me go, "What's the fuss all about?" Rocknok asked.

"She's in my way, Someone as weak as her doesn't belong here," Tyler replied.

Rocknok looked down at me with utter disdain as I crouched on the ground like some pitiful creature, and spat out, "pathetic humans."

Then, shifting his attention to the others, he said, "She might not fit in here, but for now, you all have a job to do. So everyone get back to work!"

Everyone scrambled back to their tasks, including the newcomers.

Sable came over and helped me up and together we went back to work.

My life as a slave here begins and ends in pain. Sable, my only friend, has been a huge support to me, even if he gets hurt in the end.

We managed to wrap things up in the evening and we were summoned to dinner.

"Hey, how are you holding up?" Sable asked. "Do you have any severe injuries?"

"No, I'm doing better now!" I tried to reassure him, although my back still hurts.

They served us a dish that was so bland and watery, it was nearly impossible to eat.

But hey, I didn't have any other options, so I had to dive into it anyway. So did Sable.

"Reena!"

Hearing my name, I instinctively looked up.

"Yes?" I hesitated in my response.

"Ricka wants you," the guard said, and at that moment, my heart sank. Everyone held their breath and turned to me; this cannot bode well.
