Chapter 11

The height difference between Sean Matthews and I is one head. When I turned my head to look at it from below, the towering figure gave the impression that it was getting closer to me.

It seemed as if Sean Matthews was intrigued by the scent, as he moved his face closer to the location from whence the odor was emanating.

What exactly is this guy up to?

"Mr.Matthews!"

"The last time I looked, I discovered it. You smell the milk in the air all around you."

I couldn't think straight, my eyes were watering, and I could smell milk. In addition to sharing my bed with the little children, I would start each day by giving them milk powder that I had personally made.

"I... I like milk."I answered.

Sean Matthews raised his hand to his chin and clamped his big, powerful fingers on the side of my jaw. The scent of milk was mingled in with the air, which caused the blood in his body to get agitated.

My heart suddenly stopped pounding as a result of the frightening gaze that was directed in my direction.

If things continue as they are, I have a bad feeling that Sean Matthews is going to pounce on me and devour me alive!

"Mr. Matthews, if you fuck me, would you marry me?"

I asked confidently. My stomach was in knots, and I gazed at him with eager anticipation.

Dark glances were directed in my direction from Sean Matthews.

"What do you mean?"

"If you marry me, I'll let you touch me. Can yo marry me?" I asked again. After Sean Matthews put his hand on my jaw and gave me a small squeeze, I began to feel uneasy and I grimaced ever so slightly.

The raging fire that had been raging within Sean Matthews's body was stifled, and the dark eyes staring back at her said, "go out."

This time, I opened the door for Sean Matthews in a very smooth manner, and then I closed the door behind him.

My previously stiff nerves began to relax as soon as I heard the door shut.

If it weren't for the fact that I'm skilled at acting and purposefully gave him the impression that I wanted to talk to him about money, I'm very sure Sean Matthews would have sucked my blood and eaten me alive.

Despite the fact that it has been two years, I can still recall Sean Matthews from that night.

However, I have a way out of this one. What about the period after that?

I truly want to get let go from my job!

Unanticipatedly, the chance presented itself quickly.

The next morning, around lunchtime, Bruce Scott arrived to tell me that I did not need to report to the firm as scheduled.

Despite this, I do feel a little bit bad about it. At least I won't have to stick around after lunch!

When I pushed the door open, all of the small guys who were within began to joyfully press their way towards the entrance.

"Mom!"

"Do not stand in such manner at the entrance. Just now, I came dangerously close to tripping over you."

Susan has arrived here. "Everyone misses you and wants to know why you haven't returned yet."

I apologized by touching their small heads and said that their mother had to work extra today. The fact of the matter is that I'm seeking for work.

"Overtime?" The children turned their heads to look at me.

I see. They are unable to comprehend the concept of overtime.

"Working overtime is not a good idea!"

Duke shouted, "Come on," while holding a pistol to his hand.

"Even more heinous than the villains!"

The features of Dora's youthful face were red with rage.

"You can do it!"

Doris put up both of his hands.

"Yes!"

Dylan nodded firmly.

I just can't control my laughter.

When the kids finished eating and were playing, I asked Susan, "Susan, can you sleep here recently?"

"What?"

"I have to put in some extra hours of work for a few days, but just for a few days. Can you assist me?" I asked.

"Yes, it will do just well."

"Thank you. Aunt Susan, I really do not know what my life would be like if you weren't in it."

"OK."

Since Susan has gone, I've been thinking that I need to put in more effort to create comics before I look for employment, but I just don't have much inspiration these days. On the contrary, I feel much more exhausted than before. Now, what about everything else that there is to do in life? I have no reason to be hungry!

Duke came up behind me and got upon my shoulder. "Mom, why don't you join us in a game of hide and seek?"

After taking a glimpse at them, I quickly covered my eyes with my palm and continued looking. "Give me a moment to count to five, and then you should immediately hide."

As soon as I had done, the five little treasures rushed about, hopping awkwardly due to their small legs, and searching for a spot to conceal themselves.

I went out and about throughout the day in search of employment opportunities. After the baby had finally slept off for the night, I greeted Susan before heading out the door. I went to the convenience shop that was just next door and it was open 24 hours.

The night had become late, there were not many other vehicles on the road, and Bentley revved its engine.

Bruce Scott was sitting in his chair as he updated Sean Matthews on the progress the firm had made over the previous month. Sean Matthews was seated close to the window with one hand on his face. His eyes were cast downward so that they seemed to be falling out of the window, and his dark eyes appeared to be darker than the night.

"Stop."

The report was cut off, and the driver pulled over to the side of the road.
