Chapter 2

Marcus Pov

The only light that enlightened the room was the one that came from the phone I was holding.

My fingers swiped and videos and pictures of me appeared, one that I'm familiar with—The ones Elena had taken of me while I was swimming.

My lips tightened around the cigarette in my mouth, and my dark eyes surged even more as more videos were shown.

Minutes passed before I threw the phone on the bed, but my mind was like a world on its own— Chaotic.

It was filled with images of a girl who quietly appeared in my life and disrupted the usual pace.

I squinted shallowly as the ring of smoke covered my eyes, but I continued to drag the cigarette like I hoped it’d wake me up from this craziness.

Suddenly, the sound of familiar footsteps sounded which interrupted my thoughts. I didn't bother checking as I knew she was the one and I also knew what she might be looking for.

My dangerous eyes turned to look at the light-up phone on the black bed sheet, and then back to the easel stand in the corner of the room, but once again, I couldn't help but be attracted by the painting on it.

I had left in a hurry, but only I knew I was trying to hide something—The dangerous thought that spurted in my mind at that point when she stood blankly in front of me.

The truth is that I had noticed Elena when she walked into the pool area.

Her sweet scent mixed with the night breeze had caressed my nostrils and made my brain pause, but I had continued to swim like I hadn't noticed her.

I don't know why I didn't send her back. Maybe I wanted to know what mischief she was about to do. Maybe it was because she had been angry with me and hadn't come out throughout, but I just let her stay.

But, I hadn't expected that she would have the guts to secretly take pictures of me.

The image of her shocked face after being caught appeared in my mind, and my eyes had laughter in them, but then, it vanished immediately like it never appeared and what was left was darkness enough to cover one like a blanket.

Slowly, I walked to the painting, and again, my heart which had always been stable shook by just staring at the image of myself.

“Too real…” I muttered, my voice low but boiling in the night.

The painting was just too real that it made me doubt if I had ever had silver hair, but I knew I hadn't.

I looked at the naked image of myself and even the size of my manhood which she had drawn, and I couldn't help but be speechless.

“Her imagination— What has she been thinking about all day?”

To be honest, I had only wanted to tease her when I asked her to draw me, I had wanted to use this chance to scare her, but it seems it backfired instead as I wasn't even able to stand her hot gaze, the way her thighs had clenched when she stared at the painting in my hand, the way her face had turned red like she was suffocating from thinking dirty, and the way her plump nipples has shown through her night wear.

Just the imagination alone is enticing and now, I can't help but gulp at the remembrance of the scent of her arousal.

Standing in front of her had almost forced me to pull her into my arms and manhandle her, but at the last minute, I had managed to hold myself back and walk away.

Sigh.

“Knock!”

I sharply turned to the door, and without the person speaking, I knew from the tiny scent that it was Elena.

The sound of knocking sounded again, this time, heavier.

“Alpha…”

My eyes narrowed as I stared at the light-up phone again, then at the door. I pursed my lips, then with a heavy sigh, I walked to the door with the cigarette dangling between my lips.

“Knock—”

I didn't let her finish knocking as I opened the door.

“Ahhh!”

Elena exclaimed in fear as her body fell uncontrollably inside my room, but I didn't help and only stood there coldly as her body hit the ground, but secretly, my fingers that held the door handle clenched tightly.

“Ouch… painful!” she cried out as she slowly sat up, but the next thing she did surprised me. Elena raised her head and glared at me with those teary eyes that looked like a galaxy.

Her cheeks were puffed up and a tear rolled down from her eyes.

“Why didn't you catch me, Alpha?!”

I stared at her red cheeks, unable to take my eyes away from the tear that slid down her cheek.

“So beautiful.. Very cute.”

I want to bite those cheeks until she cries again. I want to hear her cry… I want those pearls of tears to caress that face again. I want…

“Fuck!” I cussed.

I threw back my head in frustration. My heart felt so stuffy and my throat rolled at the evil thought that twirled around my mind.

The cigarette between my lips was wet with my saliva but I didn't pull it out but instead, inhaled the smoke and let it choke me until my eyes turned a shade darker with a red tint and finally, the fire that burned my body slowly calmed.

With a dark face, I looked down at the lady who sat on the floor still glaring at me.

“What are you doing here and why aren't you asleep?” I asked coldly in my hoarse voice.

Elena’s face turned startled as if she had just remembered she was here for something. Her head shifted everywhere and I just knew from her sneaky eyes that she was checking out my room.

Aside from the personal maid and the butler, Elena will be the 3rd person who has entered my room and even Catherine isn't allowed in.

I coldly allowed her to satisfy her desire to look around, and finally, I slammed the door shut, bought out the cigarettes and pinched it until it went out before lighting another one.

“Are you done? If you are, state what you’re here for and scramble out.” I ordered firmly with my hoarse voice.

I didn't look at Elena, instead, I focused on the smoke.

“I… I came for my phone.” She finally spoke.

My eyes tilted to the bedside, and like she was aware, she followed my movement and I could see her face brighten up when she saw her light screen.

Without waiting for my command, she stood up and tried to run to my bed which made me frown.

“Who gave her permission to take the phone?” I sneered.

In large steps, I followed behind her and before she could pick up the phone, my longer hand bypassed her and snatched it, but—

“Ahhh!”

My eyes shook in surprise as Elena’s legs twisted, and before I could do anything, her hand was on my robe and was pulling me down with her.

Startled, the sound of bodies falling on the bed sounded. And worse—

My lips were on something soft—Her boobs.
