Chapter 4

Simón recordaba la conversación que había tenido con su amigo, cuando Giovanni era apenas un niño de 14 años. Simón que en ese entonces tenía 18 años llego junto con su jefe Dante, quien estaba en plan de enamorar a Estefanía, mientras ellos hablaban él se dedicó a recorrer el viñedo y fue allí que encontró a Giovanni, estaba solo llorando, gritándole a Dios porque le hacía esto, entonces él le pregunto qué le sucedía y allí Giovanni le dijo que Dios se había llevado a su hermana Alejandra que ahora era una santa, luego de ese día se hicieron amigos y ya no pregunto por Alejandra.

Las risas no tardaron en llenar el lugar, mientras Alejandra tomaba noción de como su decisión había lastimado a su familia y también a ella misma, ya que fueron muchos los días que lloro sola en el cuarto del convento porque extrañaba a su familia.

¿Acaso este fue tu plan padre? ¿Tu misericordia actuó en mí para que regresara a casa? ¿Sabías que mi entrega no era absoluta?

Mientras Alejandra dejaba vagar su mete, Simón también lo hacía, pero tratando de recordar donde había visto a esa joven.

— ¿Entonces estabas en el convento? — pregunto mientras la futura esposa de su jefe salía de la finca y quedaba solo con Giovanni y Alejandra.

— Si desde los 16 años, ayer tomaría mis votos perpetuos… pero ya no pude.

— ¿Por qué?

— Tendré un bebé. — respondió sin miedo o vergüenza.

La respuesta de Alejandra lo dejo sin habla, en ese momento no necesito mayores explicaciones, en ese momento lo supo, recordó de donde conocía a la joven y entendió que este era el comienzo de todos sus problemas.

Dante Berlusconi tenía 25 años cuando su padre Preto le comunico que era hora de conocer e integrarse por completo en todo lo referente a sus empresas, el joven ya había aprendido todo lo referente a la mafia Italiana que estaba a cargo de su padre y que manejaba todo el norte de Italia, ahora era tiempo que también manejara la parte legal, la fachada que mantenían ante todos, eran muchos los mafiosos que se manejaban de esa manera, pero ante todos el que llevaba las de ganar siempre seria LA SOMBRA ITALIANA, el hombre que manejaba la mafia al sur de Italia seguía siendo un misterio para el mundo, todos querían imitarlo, pero nadie lograba igualarlo, hacía unos años Fabrizzio la supuesta sombra, se dejaba ver al servicio de los Santoro y las especulaciones no tardaron en llegar.

— Esta noche todo recaerá sobre ti Dante, no me decepciones. — dijo con la seriedad de la ocasión Preto.

— No lo hare padre, ¿Qué tan difícil puede ser enamorar a una joven de 22 años? — respondió muy seguro de sus encantos, y es que siempre tenía a la mujer que quería, se suponía que no sería difícil llegar a la morena.

— Pronto lo sabrás, Estefanía Santoro es una dama, nada a lo que tú estás acostumbrado a tratar, pero más importante es saber si Fabrizzio solo está con ellos por alguna deuda que tenga con la familia Zabet o si la verdadera sombra italiana es Alessandro Santoro.

Dante pensaba cumplir con su misión, pensaba conquistar a la joven y debelar la verdad, pero sus pensamientos se esfumaron en el momento que Estefanía ingreso al salón, la morena estaba del brazo de su padre, quien miraba a todos con una clara advertencia, nadie se podía acercarse a ella sin antes pasar por Alessandro, su vestido rojo realzaba el color de su piel, parecía un chocolate tentando a todos a querer comerlo, ajustado a cada curva de su cuerpo y tan largo como ella, era alta aunque aún con los tacones que llevaba no alcanzaba a su padre, el cabello rizado con volumen propio resaltaba ante todas las demás mujeres que allí se encontraban con sus cabellos lacios casi insípidos, su maquillaje en tonos cobre te obligaba a ver su rostro una y otra vez, hipnotizante, cautivante.

Luego de seguirla durante toda la noche al fin vio su oportunidad, cuando la joven quedó sola y se dirigió a uno de los balcones, la luz de la luna bañaba su cuerpo de una forma casi mágica, tanto que Dante casi se olvida de respirar, aun así, recupero la compostura y se aclaró la garganta para hacer notar su parecencia.

— Buenas noches. — dijo como todo un caballero.

— Buenas noches. — respondió la morena mientras le regalaba una mirada, esos ojos color chocolate, todo ella era color chocolate y ese pensamiento no se quedó en su mente solamente.

— Eres como un chocolate. — Estefanía arrugo su entrecejo y una carcajada salió de sus voluptuosos labios.

— Señor Dante, tiene una forma muy rara de coquetear. — respondió cuando dejo de reír y Dante quería que la tierra se abriera y lo tragara completo.

— Disculpe, pero su belleza me hace perder la cordura, nunca… — la joven levantó una mano y Dante guardó silencio.

— Señor Berlusconi, no siga por favor, porque si yo soy un chocolate, usted es una fruta prohibida, ya suficiente tiene mi familia con las habladurías por que el señor Fabrizzio se encarga de la seguridad de mi madre, como para sumar que un Berlusconi este cerca mío, con permiso. — con un ligero asentamiento de cabeza la morena lo dejo solo y sin palabras, con la promesa de conquistarla a como diera lugar.
