Chapter 8

Summer arrived at Jane's house after she drove to the location where she picked her up. She was seated on the couch, her legs folded inside the couch with Sophy next to her. Jane came over with a cup of warm coffee and gave it to her as she sat down facing her.

"You still haven't told me what you were doing in the mansion, who did you come to see over there? Is it one of your patient's?" Jane asked.

Summer sighed and began to tell her the whole story, starting from her encounter with Miguel's family. Jane listened attentively.

Meanwhile, at the Miguel Mansion, Miguel was seated by the poolside, taking a nap while drinking from his wine. Nelson came over and sat next to him.

"Are you worried about her?" Nelson asked.

Miguel sighed, his eyes gazing out at the pool.

"Yeah, I don't want her being a victim because of me," he said.

"Well, there is nothing to do, Roberto got his eyes on her. She should be among your responsibility," Nelson said, his words dripping with seriousness.

Back at Jane's apartment, after Summer explained everything to her, Jane's eyes widened in shock.

"I knew it, and I said it - he looks like a Mafia boss. Miguel Salvatore, I've heard things about him, and I never knew he was the stranger you helped," Jane exclaimed.

"What do you think I should do now? You know anyone involved with him will become a prey too," she asked, her voice trembling with anxiety.

"But he doesn't seem like someone who will hurt you,".

"And you know him well enough not to do that? look, I'm scared for my life, he is the most dangerous Mafia in the city," she said, her words spilling out in a rush.

"And extremely wealthy too, you forgot to add that one," Jane interjected, Summer sighed, "Come on, girlfriend, I'm sure he will not allow anyone to hurt you,"

"You don't seem to get it, I don't want to be involved with him. I'm not scared of him; I just don't want to get close to him," she said, and they sighed.

**************

Miguel lay on the bed in one of his luxurious hotel suites, the soft glow of the city lights casting a warm ambiance over the room. He was shirtless, his pants hanging low on his hips, showcasing his chiseled physique. His muscular body and abs seemed to gleam in the dim light, and he exuded an aura of quiet confidence.

As he lit a cigarette, the smoke curled into the air, and his mind wandered back to Summer's words. He couldn't shake off the feeling that lingered long after their conversation.

Just then, a lady emerged from the bathroom, dressed in a seductive outfit that left little to the imagination. She climbed onto the bed, her movements fluid and deliberate, and began tracing his body with kisses.

Miguel didn't react, his look unreasonable as he continued smoking, lost in thought. The lady's lips brushed against his skin, sending shivers down her own spine, but he remained impassive. When she moved to kiss his lips, he turned his face away, his gaze drifting off into the distance.

"What, don't you want my lips on yours?" she asked softly.

"I don't do kisses," he replied, his voice low and even.

"Why? Who makes love without kisses?" she asked.

"You should know the rules," He said, his voice firm. "Weren't you given the rules before you were brought in here?"

"Yes, I just thought maybe they were joking," she said, "Who sees the almighty Miguel Salvatore and doesn't die to kiss him?"

"I have rules. If you want to continue, you have to follow them. I don't do kisses, and I don't do virgins... looking at you, you are not," he said, his gaze sweeping over her.

"You're right," she smirk, her lips curled into a sly smile. She continued to trace his body with kisses, her movements sensual and deliberate.

his pants slowly being undone by the lady's skilled hands. He reached over to the shelf beside him, pulled out a condom, and handed it to her. She smiled seductively, took it from him, tore it open, and covered herself.

As she began to ride him, her soft moans filled the air, and Miguel's eyes drifted into a world of his own, lost in thought. The smoke from his cigarette curled into the air, a hazy veil between him and the world around him.

Some minutes passed, Miguel stepped into the bathroom, the sound of running water filling the air as he took his shower. Meanwhile, the lady lounged on the bed, wrapped in a duvet, chatting on the phone with her friends, a smile still playing on her lips.

When Miguel emerged from the bathroom, he looked refreshed, a towel wrapped tantalizingly around his waist. The lady's eyes widened as she took in his chiseled physique, her gaze lingering on his muscles.

"Wow, I feel like having you again," she purred, her voice husky with desire.

But he ignored her, as he opened his drawer and pulled out a wad of cash. He tossed it to her, and she caught it, her eyes widening in surprise.

"Wow, thank you very much," she exclaimed.

"Get dressed, my men will drop you off," He said curtly, his eyes already on his clothes as he began to dress.

"Do you want to do this some other time?" she asked.

He sat down to fix his shoes, his movements economical and precise. When he stood up, he adjusted his suit, smoothed out his hair, and gave himself a final once-over in the mirror.

"My men will see you out," he said, without looking at her. And with that, he turned and walked away, leaving the lady to stare after him in frustration.

"What an attitude," she muttered under her breath.

Miguel came out of the hotel and entered his car as the chauffeur opened the back door for him. Immediately he entered, the door closed, and one of his men in the front seat turned to him.

"Is she back to the house?" he asked, his eyes gazing outside the window

"No, boss, she's still in her friend's place," the man replied.

"Keep a close watch on them and let me know if anything happens," Miguel instructed.

"Okay, boss," the man said, and they drove off.

*Jane's apartment*

Summer came to the kitchen to get water from the refrigerator. She poured some into a glass and took a sip. Then, she felt a warm arm caressing her from behind, and she let out a soft moan, enjoying the tender kisses around her neck.

The hand turned her to face him, and she was surprised to see who it was.

"Y-you..." she sputtered nervously.

Miguel's lips claimed hers with a passionate intensity, leaving her breathless. As he lifted her onto the cabinet, stood between her legs. His hands traced every curve of her body, and she couldn't help but respond to his touch.

"Please..." she moaned softly.

"Do you want me to stop?" He asked, his voice husky with desire, as he slid his hand under her shirt, teasing her nipples.

Summer's response was lost in the moment, her body reacting to his touch in ways she couldn't control. The chemistry between them was undeniable.

Romance ignited as his kisses trailed down her thigh, she let out a soft moan . But she gasped awake, her heart racing, and stared around the dark room, disoriented. Sweat beaded on her forehead, and she quickly checked herself, and noticed she was wet. Jane slept peacefully next to her, while Sophy slumbered in her little bed.

"Fuck!" she muttered, rushing to the bathroom to compose herself.

The next morning, over breakfast, Jane noticed her friend's mood.

"Are you okay?" Jane asked,

"Not really," Summer sighed.

"What happened? Didn't get enough sleep?" Jane probed gently.

"Yeah."

"Why? Bad dreams? Were you dreaming about the incident at your house?"

"I wish,"

"Then tell me why didn't you get enough sleep last night?"

"I had the most terrifying dream last night," Summer revealed.

"What was it about? Ghost hunting you?" She teased.

"Worst than that, I had an intimacy dream with him and I woke up wet," Summer said.

"Intimacy with who? Peter?" she asked, confused.

"I wish it was him, but it's Miguel,"

"What?!" Jane exclaimed, trying to stifle a laugh.

"Believe me, girlfriend, it was terrifying," She said.
