Chapter 3

“Shift back,” the warrior announced menacingly. He wanted his omega in his arms. This was their mate, for god’s sake! The omega whimpered a bit, cowering down to cover herself.

With an angry huff, he grabbed his twins around and turned him around, giving the omega privacy once again. The minute he sensed that the omega had turned, he twirled around again, marching to the omega quickly and dropping to his knees in front of her, eyes ablaze.

Anastasia had only managed to grab her shirt to cover her front parts. The alpha watched her, analyzing her every detail, a hand reached up to touch her silver hair. The omega flinched. She felt the other twin sit next to her, wrapping his arms around her protectively and burying his face in her neck. Anastasia felt terrified but safe at the same time, so she bared her neck just like her omega instincts were telling her to do in front of the alphas. The warrior kept touching her, face looking angry as he trailed his hands over her face, never breaking eye contact. The other alpha came out of nowhere and lifted her to his lap. Anastasia squealed in embarrassment. She was still very naked, the shirt only covering his chest and sex. The alpha's sudden affection towards her heated her inside, letting a small ember of hope bloom inside of her that everything would be okay. The fire was small but did enough to freeze her fingers and toes, she did not dare venture either in fear of getting burnt. She was still too cold to delve into the warmth so quickly. But the way her omega cradled her told her that it would be soon, she was safe and she would be warm again. “She looks delightful,” the alpha’s voice dropped a note, making Anastasia flustered. She finally deflected her gaze away from the elder. The alpha’s face still looked angry, yet his words suggested he wasn’t. Does he just never look happy? “We found her, our mate.” “8 fucking years,” the other alpha hummed. “We waited for you for 8 years. Now that you are finally in front of us, I can see why. Perfection cannot be rushed and there is no omega like you.” “Perfect,” the warrior repeated back, face still buried in her scent gland before latching onto his neck and nipping at it. Anastasia gasped, back arching at the sensation. The alpha holding her in his lap did the same, holding her body close to him. A mixture of emotions passed through Anastasia, love, acceptance, and completion. She had just presented two weeks ago yet here she was with her mates. twins. “We need to end the ceremony,” the leader spoke after a while. Anastasia was in a daze from the scenting session, it had been so long since she had any sort of affection like this, she was blissed out. She languidly flopped her head on the alpha's shoulder, eyes closing. She heard the warrior growl. “I refuse to let her go,” he declared, hands grabbing at Anastasia’s waist possessively. The grip was stronger than before. The leader huffed, “You possessive mutt. I’ll go then.” Suddenly, Anastasia was being passed to the other alpha as if she weighed nothing. She instinctively wrapped her hands around the alpha’s neck, shying away when he saw the intense way he was getting looked back at. She dropped one arm off to shyly adjust the top to keep covering her skin, now very aware of where the alpha hands were situated on her bare skin, one hand was holding her a little too close to her buttocks. “Take off your robe Leo,” the alpha said, “I am not walking her through the halls this exposed. Her skin is for our eyes only.” Eyes fixated on her feet, Anastasia felt a larger cloth covering her, smelling like the alphas and still warm on her skin. She sighed contentedly as she pulled it up to her chin. The alpha walked her through the massive palace, eyes never straying away from her face. Anastasia avoided looking at him. This alpha seemed ruder, more abashed like the other alphas from her old pack whilst the other twin was calmer. Despite heavily favoring one of them, both already made her feel safe, her omega was content around them, and that was all the proof she needed to let some of her guards down. Her skin didn't prickle at their touch, and that was a sign enough that she should let the actions continue. She was gently placed on a large bed, swimming with her mates’ scents. She had to fight the urge to roll around in it, it was already something she craved to smell all the time. Anastasia used the robe to fully cover her body all the way up to her lips, the smell calming her down. She sat cross-legged on the edge of the bed, anxiously waiting for what was going to happen now. Would they mate that night? She wasn’t ready at all. The alpha left the room to bark at some maids before he came back in and sat on a chair opposite her. They sat there looking at each other for a moment before a beta entered the room with clothes. The alpha growled at her possessively, snatching the clothes off her and slamming the door. The omega felt alarmed by the noise but tried to hide her flinch to no avail. the warrior noticed anyway. He came and stood in front of Anastasia, placing the clothes down beside her, and went back to sit, eyes still on his form. Was she supposed to get dressed in front of the alpha? “Could you not-” she gestured at the alpha nervously and she grabbed the clothes. The alpha huffed before standing up and walking to the end of the room, staring out of the window. He was acting like Anastasia was a huge nuisance, and the omega didn't like it one bit. Just a moment ago he was going on about how happy he was to see his mate, what was his issue? Anastasia stood up and started dressing in the fine material, sticking her tongue out at the other alpha childishly because she could.

The top was tied around her waist going down to her thighs and the pants were flowy, both materials clearly expensive. The soft cream color perfectly highlighted her hair, drawing attention to it.

As she admired herself a little in the mirror near her, she saw the other alpha enter. Anastasia gasped in shock at the sudden noise, regaining her composure after a second and looking down embarrassed. The alphas whipped to look at her tensely, making sure she was okay before relaxing

“We waited so fucking long for you,” the leader said, trailing his eyes languidly over her body. “Seeing you now, it was worth the wait.” “Very.” The other alpha turned around, moving to go stand next to his brother

. Not knowing what to do, Anastasia sat on the bed again, looking at the floor as she waited for something to happen.

Looking up, the two alphas were looking into each other’s eyes, communicating that way. Telekinesis. Twins could do that, couldn’t they? They both nodded to each other before looking back at the omega, her skin prickled from the lustful stares.

It was as if they were admiring her. They went to the opposite side of the bed, shedding their top layers to expose their chests, and lay down on the bed. He stood up off the bed and just looked at them, unsure of what was supposed to happen now.

Both alphas were devastatingly handsome, tall, broad, and powerful. Their bodies were thickly wrapped in muscles, their physique strong and hard. They both had a couple of scars marrying their skin, but the alpha had a substantial amount more.

One of them was deep and curved from his left rib down past his belly button. It was really hot. The leader gestured for her to come forward, Anastasia complied with shaky legs, crawling towards him and kneeling near them. The alpha gently grabbed her waist, lifting her off the bed and between the two alphas.

Again, that strength. She faced the ceiling as both alphas turned to their sides to look at her, one of their hands sliding behind her back and the other her waist. The other hand trailed down her chest, one on her thigh. Once again the two alphas nosed as her glands, drinking in her scent like they were thirsty.

She felt at peace, so he didn’t squirm, they both felt so safe. “There is so much we want to know about you, and probably you as well, all we know are each other’s names,” the leader spoke, hot breath fanning her neck

For ten years, I lived for Dante Moretti. I waited for my eighteenth birthday, knowing that the Alpha of the Dark Nebula was my fated mate. But when the day finally came, he didn't claim me. He brought Isabella home instead. A warrior. A political asset. "Welcome home, my future Luna," he announced to the pack, shattering my heart in front of everyone. I was just the orphan girl who couldn't Shift. A liability. To ensure I knew my place, Isabella offered me a "gift." A collar made of pure silver. To a human, it is jewelry. To a wolf, it is acid. When she locked it around my neck, the metal sizzled. The smell of my own burning flesh filled the room. I fell to my knees, screaming, looking at Dante with tears in my eyes. I begged him to stop her. But he just looked at me, his face a mask of cold logic. "Wear it," he commanded, ignoring the smoke rising from my skin. "Consider it discipline. If you take it off, you leave the Pack." He thought he was protecting me. He thought making me look weak would save me from his enemies. He didn't realize he was killing the girl who loved him. That night, I didn't just take off the collar. I closed my eyes, found the golden thread of our Mate Bond in my mind, and snapped it in half. Dante collapsed in the hallway, clutching his chest in agony as he felt our connection die. "What did you do?" he whispered into the void. "I set you free, Alpha," I said. Then I ran into the storm. He thought I was a defenseless human. He didn't know I was the lost daughter of the Royal White Wolf bloodline. And when I returned, I wouldn't be kneeling.
