Chapter 11

Married To The Arrogant Star

Episode 11

By: Peachlips

Ethan's Pov:

"Ethan come on you can't possibly do this to me. You can't ditch me," the bitch says as she stands in front of me.

I stand up quietly from the bed and go to sit in front of my system which is facing the window. This way I'm now backing her.

I'm shirtless and undoubtedly just my bare skin is driving her crazy.

"Get out of my room Michelle," I say calmly as I bring out a stick from my cigarette pack and reach for my lighter.

"Ethan please you know I love you. You can't just use me and dump me. I gave you my dignity," she says, and I scoff.

"Stop lying bitch," I say lowly as I light the cigarette and stick it in my mouth.

"Fine! I know you didn't meet me as a virgin but you're the second guy that has ever crossed my legs. I told you the first one was done forcefully. You're the first guy I've given it to willingly. You can't do this to me Ethan."

I sigh and turn on my laptop.

"I'm not interested in you Michelle. The only thing I wanted was to f**k and go and you knew it. So stop chirping," I tell her bluntly and I hear her sniff.

"Ethan... please. I promise to be faithful to you. I'll do whatever you want. Just give me a chance," she pleads.

These ladies... when will they ever learn?

I reach for one of my phones and make a call placing it on speaker.

"Sir," the security says over the phone.

"Come and get a bitch out of my room," I say coldly and end the call.

I hear her whimper and next she grabs her bag from the bed and runs out of the room.

I puff out smoke from my mouth as I hear her slam the door. I wonder when I'll stop seeing such drama. Cheap ladies.

They know the only thing I want is their body. Yet they still go ahead and make attempts on me. When will they understand I can never fall in love?

I start going through my system and not long after a call comes into my phone. I check and discover it's mum.

I sluggishly pick it up and place it back on the table putting it on speaker.

"Hi mum," I say with a sigh.

"Ethan where are you?" she asks and I heave.

What does she want this time around? I really want to be alone.

"I'm at my mansion. Is there a problem?" I reply.

"Of course not Ethan. But you need to come home now. There's something we need to talk about. It's very important."

I pause and touch my forehead. What could be more important this time around?

"Ethan?" she calls and I sigh.

"Fine. I'll be there," I tell her and hang up.

I wonder what they're up to this time around.

Liana's Pov:

I scoff and look at mum my head spinning from what she says. Or did I mishear her?

"Ethan?" I ask.

"Marry? I... I don't understand, mum. What are you talking about? I mean, who's getting married... to Ethan? What Ethan?"

"Liana," she calls and tucks her hair behind her ear.

"I know you must be confused okay? But you need to understand this. You're getting married to Ethan."

"Ethan?" I repeat.

"Yes, Ethan! Ethan Blackwell."

A short silence steps in as I stare at her stunned.

This is a dream.

"His parents and I have been talking about it and we've finally come to a conclusion. He's the heir to the Blackwell Incorporated and you're also the heir to my company. So we've decided to do a partnership and that's the reason both of you need to get married for the future of the company. That way we'll never have a thing to worry about Liana."

I drop my bag on the floor and try to comprehend the whole thing. Is this woman serious?

"So you... you're trying to say I'll be getting married to E... Ethan? Like... Ethan?" I ask bemused.

"Yes."

"Mum! Are you kidding me?" I snap and stand on my feet.

"I mean you want me to get married to someone because of some worthless company?"

"You better shut that mouth of yours Liana before I shut it up for you," she retorts.

"Well you better do mum because I want to believe you're joking. Like seriously, can you even hear yourself? You want me to get married to someone I know nothing about and for goodness sake at this tender age? I'm just nineteen."

"I gave birth to you at the age of seventeen," she says as she stands up and I halt.

Hold on seventeen???

"You..." I pause and scoff.

"Listen I have no idea how it happened. But you can't make me pass through the same way you did. I can't let you do this to me. I can't get married mum not at this age and not to someone like Ethan."

"And what are you talking about? Do you know how many ladies are out there dying just to touch his finger? You should be happy you're getting married to him."

"Well I don't care mum! And I'm not one of those cheap ladies. I don't love him. How do you expect me to get married to him?"

"Trust me Liana you will love him as-"

"He's a flirt! A rude brat! Do you even know what I catch him doing in the restroom last night? He's actually making out with a lady!"

"Well he's a young boy and you don't expect anything less from him. But all that is likely to change when you get married."

"Mum-"

"Shut up Liana!" she says raucously and I keep quiet stunned.

"I don't care if you like it or not but I'm not going to let you make all my efforts go down the drain. You're getting married to Ethan and that's final. The wedding is on Saturday and they'll be coming over for dinner tomorrow," she says coldly and turns around to leave.

"I have a boyfriend mum," I say tearfully and she turns back to look at me.

"I have someone I care about."

For a second she keeps quiet and doesn't say a word.

"I don't care. What's important right now is getting married to Ethan and that's what you should be thinking about," she replies.

I look at her in disbelief as tears run down my cheeks.

How can this happen? What kind of a mother is this?

I can't say anything else and I run away in tears.

Ethan's Pov:

I walk into the sitting room and meet mum and dad already seated there, discussing.

"Ethan!" mum calls as she stands up to embrace me.

She's the only woman who gets to hold me this way.

"Hi mum," I say as we unlock from the hug.

She smiles and arranges my hair with her palm.

"Good evening dad," I say turning my eyes to him.

He's a chubby-looking man.

"Welcome home Ethan. Come and have a seat," he says and mum holds my hand and makes me sit beside her.

"Okay so why did you call for me?" I ask looking at mum.

"Because we have something important to tell you about," dad chips in and looks at mum as if giving her the go-ahead.

"Um... Ethan," mum calls and holds my hand.

"Do you remember Maltilda's daughter at the party last night?"

I narrow my eyes and try to think.

That tiny girl?

"Yes. What about her?" I ask.

"Maltilda and I have decided to do a partnership and for that to happen we need both of you to get married," dad says but I maintain a straight face.

I mean I don't get what he's saying.

I keep staring at him without saying a word then I look at mum.

"What's going on?" I finally ask with a scoff.

"Ethan," mum calls with a sigh.

"I know it's coming as a shock to you but it's the truth and for the future of the company. Both of you will be getting married on Saturday."

Okay.

These people have got to be kidding me. I mean, what are they talking about? Who the f**k is getting married?

"Ethan-"

"Hold on are you guys trying to trick me or something? Because I want to believe you're joking," I cut mum off.

"This isn't a trick Ethan and we're not joking. It's for the best and you're doing it," dad says.

"So you're trying to tell me I'm getting married to who? What shit is that? Are you for real?" I rasp and stand on my feet.

"Yes Ethan and that's the only way you can inherit the company."

"Well f**k the company. F**k everything. I don't need it," I say and storm out of the house in anger.

"Ethan!" mum calls after me but I ignore her and head for my limo in front of me. My guards are already there.

"Ethan please," she finally catches up with me and holds my hand.

"Seriously mum I never expect this from you," I say anger eating me up.

"How can you really expect me to get married against my will? I thought all you ever wanted was my happiness?"

"Of course Ethan. And I'm doing all this for your sake. Can't you see? Finally, you'll become the heir to the Blackwell Incorporated. The fame will be ours," she enthuses.

"Well, I don't f**king need the company mum. I'm already successful without it."

"Of course you're not! Do you know what it's going to mean for us to own the company? We'll finally become the winners!"

"I can't get married mum I can't. It's going to be hell on earth. I'm not ready to stay committed. I'm only going to make life miserable for the bitch because I can't be a husband right now."

"Ethan please you don't necessarily need to stay committed when you're married. I mean I'd understand if you're tempted to have a taste of other ladies once in a while. But the most important thing right now is getting married to that lady so you can gain access to the company. Please don't let my efforts go down the drain. This is all I've ever wanted."

"Oh really? And talking about efforts I guess it includes the fact that you slept with your best friend's husband so you could give birth to an heir."

She pauses and looks at me in shock. That's enough to earn a slap, but she wouldn't even dare.

She bends her head and starts weeping.

Yeah, f**k.

"Ethan please," she whimpers and holds my waist.

"Try and understand me. I'm doing all this for your sake. Please son."

She hugs me tight and I roll my eyes.

She knows my weak point. She knows I hate seeing her cry.

But what the heck?

How can they expect me to get married to... that tiny girl? I don't even know her.

And mum... she isn't the type who'd want me to do something I don't like. But why is it different in this case? Why is it necessary for me to get married first? Why do I smell something fishy?
