Chapter 9

💞Married To The Arrogant Star

Episode 9

By: peachlips

Liana Pov:

I swear I never thought I could be this nervous in my entire life.

I feel my heart thumping as I stare into his face. Oh my gee! Is he this handsome?

I mean this is the first time I'm having such a close view of his face and oh my! He looks heavenly gorgeous far more than he appears on TV and magazines.

Gosh! No wonder all the ladies are crazy over him.

He has these dark pretty sexy eyes and little pink soft-looking lips and the gold ring on his ear glitters.

He's wearing a red long sleeve but the little part of his hand that I see is covered in tattoos.

Wow! So Ethan Blackwell's for real?

We keep staring at each other and I actually forget he asked a question. What?

I mean I can't answer such a question.

I quickly turn back to the running water and turn it off. I almost forget about it.

Gosh! I'm really nervous right now.

I take my bag from the table without looking in the mirror and turn around to leave. Ethan is still standing there staring at me.

I wonder what he must be thinking.

I swallow hard and start walking to the exit approaching where Ethan is. I fix my gaze on the floor as I don't want to stare at him.

But when I get to where he is unfortunately and stupidly my bag falls from my hand to the floor next to his feet but I can't tell if it touched him or not.

Oh my God!

Liana!

"Geez! Are you blind?" he mutters.

"I'm sorry," I say immediately as I drop to a crouch to pick it up.

Hold on did he just say I'm blind? What the heck? Do I look blind to him?

I put the items that have fallen back in the bag and stand up.

My eyes run into his in a flash as we stand close to each other.

Then I start walking away but suddenly stop and turn back to look at him.

"And just so you know, I'm not actually blind," I tell him and walk away.

Geez! I can't let that slide.

I walk out the entrance and the guards by the door stare at me like I'm some sort of movie.

I go back to my seat and take a deep breath as I sit.

Gosh! I still can't believe the encounter I just had with the world's famous Ethan Blackwell. It's incredible.

I remember his pretty dark eyes as they stared into mine. His soft pink lips as they speak to me

"Are you blind?"

Why did he have to ask me such a question? Maybe the reply I gave suited him best.

I exhale and tuck my hair behind my ear. The whole image keeps replaying in my head.

Gosh! I need to stop this.

I look around and see him walking out of the room tracing his steps.

He walks so stylishly like a king and I keep staring at him until he gets to a table where three other boys sit.

Oh! I know one of the boys from there.

Of course! He's also an artiste and his stage name is Masked.

Wow!

Ethan sits with them takes a drink from the table and they start communicating but Ethan isn't talking much. One of the boys there is actually smoking.

Fortunately where they're seated is far from me and there's no way Ethan could see me.

There's still a bottle of wine on my table and I decant some into a glass and drink from it. Just then, a young-looking boy comes up and sits next to me.

What the heck?

"Hi," he says with a smile as he stares into my face.

I scoff and look away.

"Hey what's up?" he says again and I shake my head.

"I'm fine. Do I look like someone with a problem?" I ask and he laughs.

"Wow! Chill okay? By the way I'm Frank. And you?" he says as he stretches out his hand for a handshake.

"I don't think my name is of any concern to you," I reply with a derogatory stare ignoring the handshake.

Well I get a lot of these lately and I'm trying to learn how to handle them.

He laughs again and brings down his hand.

"Okay then. I guess I'll just call you pretty. So how're you?" he asks and I scoff.

"Isn't that the same thing as 'what's up'?" I reply and he chuckles.

"Wow! I must say you're hot. Keep it cool okay? Anyway I just saw you from a distance and really really admired you. Can we be friends?"

I'm looking ahead and see mum and Ethan's mum walking together.

Hah! Finally they're done with whatever they've been doing. It's been ages now.

"Hey pretty," the boy next to me calls.

"Hi. I'm interested okay? So just let me be," I reply tiredly and look at mum.

Ethan's mum stops at Ethan's table while mum starts proceeding to where I am. She's probably spotted me already.

"Okay. Can I have your digits?" the annoying jerk says and I roll my eyes.

Just wait till my mum gets here.

I look at Ethan's mum as she takes him from the table and stands at a distance with him talking.

Was she telling him? I wonder if she knows he's a deep-soaked player.

She uses her palm to brush his hair as she talks to him acting like he's a baby.

Hm. Guess the rumours are true. She really loves and pampers him a lot.

"Hey," the boy beside me calls and just then mum arrives at our table.

"Mum," I call kinda sounding relieved.

She remains standing and looks at the boy.

"And who are you?" she asks and I turn to look at him.

The expression on his face is funny.

"Uh...no one ma'am," he replies and quickly leaves.

Geez!

Mum glares at him as he leaves and takes her eyes back to me.

"Come with me Liana let's say hi to Ethan," she says and starts walking away and I almost laugh.

Hold on is it funny? I mean what did she just say? Say hi to who???

"Mum?" I call but she doesn't turn to look at me.

Oh, my God! What the heck? Why does she want me to see Ethan? I mean like what the heck?

Ethan!!!

She's already far from me and I know I'll be in trouble if I don't go along with her.

I nervously grab my bag from the table and start scuttling after her.

I catch up with her and we get to where Ethan is.

Oh my God! I'm meeting Ethan again.

Holy Christ!

You might probably be wondering why I'm so nervous. But trust me when you get to meet a god like celebrity you'll understand how it feels.

"Liana," Ethan's mum calls as we stand in front of them.

Ethan is now focusing his eyes on me.

"Hey Ethan," mum calls with a light smile.

"Good evening ma'am," he greets her and takes his eyes from me.

"Um...Ethan I want you to meet Liana. And Liana please meet my son," his mum says happily and I become really really nervous.

I can't help but fiddle with my bag and wonder if I should say hi to him. But we've met already.

He doesn't say a word either and his mum looks at him and then at his hand, and I understand she's trying to tell him to shake mine. But he ignores.

"Yeah...we've met before," he finally says as he inserts both hands into his trouser pockets.

"Really? You've met before?" his mum asks and looks at me surprised.

"Where?"

"In an inconvenient place," he replies with a scoff and just then a call comes into his phone and he brings it out from his back pocket.

Wow! You wouldn't believe the type of phone he's holding.

"Guess we're done here? Excuse me," he says brusquely and walks away.

Wow!

His mum turns back to look at him, and from the look on her face, it's obvious she's abashed by her son's attitude.

"Um...hope you don't mind Liana? You should know how boys are sometimes," she says and I just smile.

"Okay Becky we'll be on our way now," mum says.

"Oh! Of course. See you tomorrow," she replies, and they give each other a parting hug and I leave with mum.

I follow mum to the car and she takes off.

"Have you met with Ethan before?" she asks as we get on the road.

"Yeah in the restroom," I reply with an eye roll and she flinches.

"Restroom?" she asks and I nod.

"How? When?"

"Well it's today at the party. I had been pressed and needed to make use of the restroom, and coincidentally when I got there I found him there as well," I reply.

"Did you guys speak to each other?" she asks.

"Well...not really. My bag had mistakenly slipped from my hand and almost hit him and he asked if I was blind," I reply and she scoffs.

"Wow! Really?" she asks and I just shrug.

She doesn't say anything else throughout the drive until we get home.

I eat shower and lay on the bed to sleep.

TBC.
