Chapter 9

Mateo consoló a su hermano, el dolor de uno siempre seria compartido por los demás, pero, aun así, la vida seguía, cada uno tenía cosas que hacer.

No le llevo mucho tiempo a Mateo montar su propia empresa, desde que era un niño lo había decidido, un año llevaba siendo su propio jefe, y si bien en un principio quiso ayudar a su hermano Stefano, pronto se vio abocado a sus problemas, Ámbar había regresado de la universidad y era un peligro para todos, en especial para el negocio de Mateo, la joven se había acostado con uno de sus inversionistas que era casado y su esposa se había enterado, generando un gran problema.

— No me grites Mateo. — dijo la rubia poniéndose de pie.

— Agradece que solo te grite, no me importa con quien duermas, solo ¡no interfieras en mis negocios! — la advertencia fue seguida de un golpe de puño en su escritorio y su hermana se largó sin siquiera cerrar la puerta de la oficina.

Mateo camino a cerrarla no quería ver a nadie, porque estaba seguro de que en ese momento sería capaz de descargar su enojo en algún pobre trabajador, pero se detuvo en el marco de la puerta, y sus ojos se abrieron con sorpresa al ver un trasero grande y redondo, la joven estaba en una posición muy comprometedora y a él le tentaba darle una nalgada.

— ¿Y tú quién eres? — Su voz sonó furiosa, aun le duraba el enojo por el contrato perdido. De forma automática la joven se levantó y quedo dándole la espalda, la cual se notaba tensa, giro lentamente, mientras Mateo descubría que sus piernas eran cortas, ya que aun con los grandes tacones que llevaba se veía pequeña.

— Se…señor…yo…MACA…Macarena, soy Macarena Fernández. — dijo temblando como una hoja, sus ojos color chocolate brillaban de una forma única, y sus labios gruesos invitaban a querer besarlos.

— ¿A qué sector perteneces? — indago el hombre mientras la veía de forma descarada.

— Recados, soy la chica de los recados.

Mateo cerró la puerta casi en la cara de la joven, estaba asustado, no entendía que le pasaba, ¿Por qué su corazón latía de forma errática?

Necesito dos años para descubrir que estaba enamorado de ella, dos años en los cuales no perdía detalle de aquella mujer, esa latina que levantaba suspiros entre los hombre y los cuales él se encargaba de despedirlos por una u otra razón, 730 días en los que Mateo hizo hasta lo imposible por llamar su atención, pero ella siempre huía de él, parecía un conejo asustado y él un lobo hambriento, no entendía porque, era guapo, lo sabía, estaba en el cuarto puesto de los empresarios más sexy, superado por sus hermanos Eros, Stefano, y su cuñado Santoro, tenía dinero, era soltero, entonces…

— ¿Por qué mierda no me miras? — dijo una vez más apretando sus puños, la acababa de cruzar en el pasillo y como siempre ella corrió su cara, como si viera al demonio. Unos golpes en la puerta lo sacaron de su miseria.

— ¡Adelante! — grito producto de la frustración que sentía.

— Ho…hola se…señor. — Ante él la mujer que lo traía loco los últimos dos años, mirándolo desde la puerta, con el temor grabado en su rostro.

— Pasa. — dijo con molestia y sin entender porque actuaba así con él, solo con él su voz temblaba.

— Señor Zabet, lamento interrumpirlo. — podía verla temblar y tenía ganas de preguntar ¿por qué?

— Dime que necesitas. — la joven abrió sus ojos y Mateo se dio cuenta que su voz salió sumamente suave y seductora.

— Señor Zabet, yo… quería saber si puede autorizar un préstamo… para mí. — termino diciendo en un susurro y bajando su mirada.

— ¿El sueldo no te alcanza? — Sin querer la voz del hombre salió con un poco de burla, sabía que le pagaban bien, él había ordenado que aumentaran su sueldo cada tres meses.

— No, digo sí, pero necesito 250 mil dólares. — Desesperación, eso gritaban sus ojos y Mateo al fin tuvo la llave para llegar a ella.

— Lamento informarle que no doy préstamos.

— Pero si se les han otorgado a otros empleados. — podía ver que esa latina tenía carácter, sus cejas casi chocaban y la veía apretar sus puños conteniendo su enojo.

— Empleados, pero tú solo eres una simple chica de recados, dime, ¿lo consideras un verdadero trabajo? Creo que incluso te pagan más de lo que vales. — su mente de empresario le jugó una mala pasada, no lo pudo evitar, la deseaba, la veía como el mejor negocio de su vida, ese que llevaba dos años persiguiendo y ella ni cuenta se había dado.

— No es necesario ser cruel, señor, lamento quitarle su valioso tiempo. — la vio parada frente a él, tan indefensa, tan vulnerable.

— Soy un hombre de negocios, dime, si te doy el dinero que necesitas ¿Qué garantía me darías?

— Lo que usted quiera. — Dijo sin pensarlo — Vera yo necesito ese dinero porque…

— No me interesa el porqué, y te daré todo lo que pidas, con una condición. — la interrumpió mientras sonreía y ella como acto reflejo retrocedió, grave error, él iba a poner como condición que le diera la oportunidad de conocerse mejor, pero ante el gesto de la joven su mente le dio un plan mejor a seguir.

— Cu… ¿cuál?

— Tú serás mía, cada vez que yo lo requieras. — no perdió tiempo en ver su cara, estaba seguro de que lo rechazaría, tomo unos documentos de su escritorio y trato de leerlos, algo imposible estando ella allí.

—… — pasaron unos minutos que parecieron eternos, hasta que Mateo al fin levanto su cara.

— No tengo todo el día, soy un hombre ocupado.

— Yo… — Mateo la vio indecisa y ataco una vez más.

— Toma, te espero en este hotel hoy, se puntual, si no llegas me daré por enterado que no te interesa hacer negocios conmigo.
