Chapter 6

EVELYN

"Ava, this can barely cover my boobs." I lifted up the tiny piece of clothing she threw on the bed.

"I'm sorry, don't tell me it's that pair of little pumpkins that you call boobs." She pointed at my chest.

"That are thrice your own size." I shot back.

Ava held onto her own boobs with her mouth wide open. "Ouch. Always bringing a bomb to a gun fight."

"You know I'm not lying though." I raised the little gown up. "Ava, this should be for a five year old not a woman like me in her late twenties."

"Put it on first. It's made of elastic fabric," Ava suggested. "Are you checking the time. You said his driver would be here by seven. This is ten minutes past six." She pointed at the wall clock.

"I've freshened up already..."

"Did you shave?" Ava made motioned with her fingers around her vagina area. "You know...in case..." She gave me a smug look which clearly told me the reason behind her question.

"My pussy has always been bald. Why are you asking though. I'm not fucking someone I just met."

"No issues, honey. Try out the gown already."

"You know my denim jumpsuit would have been better."

"No, no, Eve. You're going on your first date with a sexy, probably wealthy man. You've got to look smoking hot, not like an elementary school teacher."

I took off my towel and picked up my bra.

"And yes, leave our your bra and maybe, your panties as well."

I didn't listen to her though I left out my bra, wearing only my lace panties. Slowly and carefully, I slipped into the dress so it wouldn't tear.

"Woah!" Ava gasped. "This is fire, girl!"

I walked to the mirror to actually see if I was burning.

Okay, this is some smoke. I thought.

I was on a strapless very mini dress that was inches below my bum. The fabric hugged my curves with ease. The neckline dipped down enough to tease. But the back was the main thing... completely bare, exposing my skin from shoulder to waist.

"I can manage it." I mumbled, taking an instant liking of the dress. Never knew I had these curves.

"Oh please. You look stunning. Sit down, lemme touch up your face a little. Your hair needs some styling as well."

"Be light with the makeup, Ava." I said this 'cause I know Ava. She would make me sit down for hours baking on my face. Morever, I wasn't a huge fan of makeup.

"Voilà! Done."

Ava followed my instructions to the core. My hair has always been in waves, so I guess she only did a little styling.

"Sean is out, right?" I did not want him to see me looking this way.

"Yeah, with Blake."

"Okay, thank God."

"I forgot to tell you, Eve. I fucked Blake last night."

"But we slept on the same bed?"

"No, we did it at the party, in the women's restroom precisely. It was quick and hot." She bit on her bottom lip.

"Avaaa!" I gave her a side eye laughing.

"I can still feel his dick pounding inside me."

"You're naughty." I giggled.

"Yeah, Blake's naughty little girl."

"Is Sean aware of you two?" Cause I know that men don't like their friends hitting on their sisters.

"What! Noo, He would have Blake's head."

I thought as much.

"That's you'd be sneaking around for four months?"

"Don't worry, darling. I have my way around it. It's almost seven. Mr Sexy's Driver should be..."

My phone vibrated followed by a loud ring.

"Uh oh." I picked up my phone. The number on the screen was unsaved. I slid the call through. "Hey..."

"Good evening, ma'am. It's Jesse..."

"I'd be outside in a minute." I said, grabbing my clutch purse.

"Is he the one?"

"Yeah. Gotta go."

Ava and I went outside. I wasn't shocked to see the car right in front of us. Ian has been giving those signs already.

It was a Rolls Royce. Not certain of the model, but it actually did look like one of these recent ones.

"Wow! Your new dick really do have money."

He sure do.

"Keep your phone on, Ava. I'd be returning tonight."

"No issues, baby. One more thing." Ava drew me close as she whispers something to my ear. "Make sure he touches that kitty."

"Lol, rest." I patted her cheek. "See you when I see you."

The drive to wherever the dinner was going to take place wasn't far at all. We left at exactly six minutes past seven. We arrived at seven twenty. And oh...it was a restaurant.

I was surprised to see that there was no car outside, just the one I'm currently inside.

"We're here, ma'am." Jesse said, not turning back to look at me.

Okay, this was creepy. Everywhere was damn quiet. I could still see the lights, no doubt but...

Eve, this dude might actually be a serial killer or some sex trafficker.

My goodness! My heart rate sped up. Where is my goddamn phone? I have to call 911...

At that moment, the car door opened and there he was.

The man who was going to kill me, divide my body into parts and feed on them later, was right beside me with his palm out.

Did I forget to mention that he would fuck me first?

"Heyy."

"I... Ian, hello."

Eve, try to be an optimist for once and see how the date goes.

He helped me out of the car.

"I thought you..." He paused staring at me, completely thrown off guard.

Mr Perfect wasn't that perfect after all. Thanks Ava for this thirst trap excuse of a dress.

"Damn!" He swallowed hard. "Y...you... Damn!" He cursed again.

Wait, did he just stutter? Ahh, he's actually human. I believe now.

"You look so out of this world. Woah!"

"Thank you. You clean up nice yourself." As usual, he was on a suit, a black one.

"Come on, let's go inside."

When we got in, I was stunned to speak. There was only a table for two in the center of the entire restaurant. The decorations were top notch as if a proposal was about to happen.

Okay, what does this man want really? I asked myself. You only met this girl twice and you're going all out for her.

"I booked the entire place tonight," Ian said. "And before we sit down to eat, I have something for you." He brought out a green velvet box from his pocket.

What in the name of a Cinderella story was going on here? Was he about to propose?

Then, he opened the box. It was a silver necklace with some hints of green tips.

"Oh my..." My hands covered my open mouth. "It... it's so beautiful."

"I got it the first time we met at the club. It matches with the color of your eyes." He carefully picked it up. "Can you turn?"

I did.

I didn't even realize I hadn't worn a necklace until this point.

I felt his hands shifting my hair as he put the piece on my neck, clasping it. I could not stop myself from opening my phone camera to see how it looked, my fingers tracing on the gems.

"Thank you very much." I faced him now.

"It's nothing... It just occurred to me that I don't know your name."

"Ohh." I giggled. "Eve...my name is Evelyn."

"Evelyn, what a fine name. Come let's eat." He said as he drew out a chair for me first.

A young woman who I supposed should be the waitress came to take our orders.

As we ate, Ian cleared his throat quietly, about to start a conversation. "I know you'd be asking why is he doing all this when we only saw two times. What does he want?"

I stared him blankly as I raised a tiny bit of chicken to my mouth.

He took a gulp of champagne before continuing. "Going straight to the point, so I don't waste our time. You and I would be here for four months. I'd love to spend time with you for that period."

I still kept mute, my mouth only moving 'cause of the food inside.

"On certain terms and conditions..."

I knew it. Every fucking thing has a price. "Okayy?"

"We won't know anything about each other asides our names which we both know now. We would live together as a couple, do what normal couples do...if you know what I mean, without any expectations." He said with a smirk. "Then once the four months is done, we both go our separate ways. No questions. No answers."

"Hmmm...."

"Four months, babe. And I'm promising you the best life..."

Tell me why at this point I got really pissed. Does he think I'm that cheap, that he could easily win me over with all these romantic gestures.

Men. Doing everything within their power to get a woman's pussy. Tsk.

"Best sex, I'd make your fantasies come true." He brought his hand to my exposed thigh.

"Ohh yeah?"

He nodded. "You're catching up quickly. So, what do you say, babe? Let's get on with the contract."

I wiped my mouth with the napkin on the table, standing up slowly. I reached out for the necklace at my back, unclasped it. Then making sure I put it on his palms.

"I'm sorry to burst your bubble, Mister. I'm not a whore. Go find yourself one to fulfill what ever sick fantasies you have in your brain."

"Wait..."

"Don't touch me. Call your driver to take me home, please. I'm done with this conversation."

Thank goodness tomorrow is Monday. I'm definitely going to find a job. 'Cause this was another perk of being jobless.

The ballroom erupted in whispers of a secret pregnancy, but Fulton’s reaction wasn't concern—it was cold, predatory calculation.
