Rejected By Five Alphas: Watch Me Thrive Novel Cover

Rejected By Five Alphas: Watch Me Thrive

Agent Alivia Sanford opened her eyes to the suffocating stench of wild animal musk and raw sex. She hadn't just transmigrated into a savage beastman world; she had woken up in the body of a 300-pound, diseased, and universally despised woman. Worse, the original owner had just drugged the tribe's strongest warrior, trying to force a mating. Now, the warrior pinned her to the cave floor with murderous fury. "You think you can trap me, you disgusting pig?" he snarled, ready to rip her throat out. After kneeing him and escaping, a "Super Charm AI" bound to her mind demanded she conquer her five designated mates to survive. But these men treated her like a walking plague. They mocked her bloated face, threw bloody raw meat into the mud for her to eat, and publicly announced they would starve her to death. Even her own family looked at her with utter disgust. In her past life, she was a legendary survivor who could have crushed these arrogant men with her bare hands. Now, she was trapped in a weak shell, threatened with soul erasure by a system if she didn't grovel for their affection. Why should she beg for love from beasts who wanted her dead? Looking at the five "-100" hostility scores on her system panel, Alivia coldly drew a mental cross over each of their faces. Enduring agonizing pain, she forced her bio-manipulation ability to violently purge the toxins from her fat body. She wasn't going to play their twisted game; she was going to find her own resources and make them pay.

Chapter 6

"Oh dear, look who has finally climbed back."

The mocking voice came from Kendra McCoy, the tribe's self-proclaimed beauty. She swayed over with exaggerated hip movements, a fake smile on her face.

"You don't really think you can drug Kane and make him want you, do you?" Kendra shouted at the crowd. "You're disgusting. An ugly, fat laughingstock."

The gathered orcs chuckled. Those disgusted looks felt like a real blow.

Alyvia stood motionless, expressionless. She found all this petty squabble utterly tiresome. It was a high school farce set in the Stone Age.

The crowd parted. Her five spouses stepped forward.

Fabian Crosby, the White Fox, came over first. He wore his usual fake, gentle smile. He offered her a piece of raw meat. "Eat," he said softly, his voice barely reaching her ears, "Don't starve. It would tarnish my reputation."

Alyvia took the meat without a word, her eyes warning him that she wasn't a fool.

Then came Davin and Jody. Jody exaggeratedly covered her nose with a clean animal hide, as if she were a walking plague.

Adrian, the bear, stepped forward. He didn't offer the meat. He simply threw it at her. The bloody, raw flesh slammed into the mud at her feet, splashing mud and water onto her calves.

"Eat up, you idiot!" he roared.

Laughter erupted from the crowd. This was the ultimate humiliation.

Finally, Kane stepped forward. He was clean, but a lingering anger still burned in his silver eyes. He looked at the flesh in the mud, then at her.

"From today onward," he announced, his voice so cold it could freeze the air, "I will no longer give her any food. She disgusts me."

The crowd gasped. A spouse refusing to provide food was tantamount to a death sentence.

Alivia looked at the flesh in the mud. It was covered in filth. Her brother, Anton, pushed through the crowd, his face red with anger.

"How dare you!" Anton shouted at Kane. "You swore an oath! You have disgraced the Sanford family!"

Kane smirked. "Ask your sister what she did."

Anton turned to Alivia, his eyes blazing. "Throw away that filthy piece of meat! The Sanfords don't accept charity!"

Alivia looked at her brother. Then at the meat. In the apocalypse, she had eaten rats and tree bark. Dignity was a luxury for the well-fed.

She bent down. Her thick, rough fingers pinched the mud-covered flesh. She picked it up and brushed off the loose dirt.

"Are you crazy?" Anton shouted. "Don't you have any shame?"

Alivia looked him straight in the eye. Her gaze was calm and utterly serious. "Food is food. The dead have no right to talk about shame."

A stunned silence fell over the square. Even Kane was slightly taken aback. This wasn't the tearful, desperate girl he knew.

Alivia didn't wait for a response. She turned her back to everyone and walked towards her dilapidated cave, her steps heavy and steady. Fabian watched her retreating figure, the fake smile vanishing from his face, replaced by a hint of curiosity.

I was staring at the two pink lines on the plastic stick, trembling with the terrifying joy of carrying the heir to the New York underworld’s most ruthless faction. Then the intercom buzzed, and a voice splintered my world. "The little art student actually thinks I'm going to marry her? It was just a game to pass the time while you were in Europe, Estella." I froze. My boyfriend, Holden, was in the next room, laughing with the daughter of his rival. He explained that I was just a "clean civilian image" he needed to secure a business deal. Now that the deal was signed, he was dumping the "stray" to marry the "Queen." I tried to run, but freedom only lasted forty-eight hours. Holden didn't just break my heart; he turned my terror into content. He kidnapped me, tied me to a chair at the edge of a cliff, and forced me to choose between my life and his new fiancée's. Then, he pushed me off the edge. As gravity snatched me, I heard him laughing. I landed on a stunt airbag. It was just a "social experiment." A sick prank for his amusement. "Don't be so dramatic, Kenia," he called down. "It's just a game." He thought I was broken. He thought I was just a prop in his life. But he forgot that I knew his secrets. I dragged my injured body to a payphone and dialed the one number Holden told me to fear—the rival Don, Gael Simpson. "It's Kenia," I whispered, clutching the receiver like a lifeline. "I'm calling in the debt."
