Chapter 3

Emma

I couldn’t believe my ears.

“Excuse me?” I snapped, staring at the receptionist as if she’d lost her mind. “What do you mean there are no other rooms left? Are you being serious right now?”

The receptionist gave me a faint, apologetic smile. “I’m really sorry, ma’am. Every room has been booked because of the business summit in town. Another hotel is a few miles away, and we’ve tried contacting them, but….”

I threw my hands in the air, cutting her off before she could finish. “Unbelievable! What kind of hotel doesn’t have a backup plan?”

Behind me, a low, mocking voice cut me off.

“Well, sweetheart,” Alexander said smoothly, “looks like you’ll be stuck with me tonight.”

I turned toward him the moment I heard his voice. My hair brusheing against my face. “Over my dead body will share the same room with a taut like you.”

He smirked, his eyes glinting under the lights. “Careful what you wish for yourself. You will later beg me for this.”

“Excuse me?”

The receptionist, looking confused, rushed to interrupt us. “Ma’am, sir… perhaps you both can share the room just for tonight? We can provide an extra blanket and pillow…”

“Share?” I repeated, "You can't be serious with this. “With him?”

Alexander leaned casually against the counter, his confidence irritatingly effortless. “Trust me I won't hurt you.”

“You look like the type who does,” I muttered.

“Ma’am,” the receptionist said calmly, “it’s only for one night. We’ll refund your stay, and tomorrow, you’ll get another room.”

I rubbed my temples. My head was pounding from exhaustion, my heart still sore from Ryan and Sophia’s betrayal. All I wanted was a quite moment.

Just me and my dildo to distract myself from the betrayal I've had today.

But of course, life had other plans.

“Fine,” I snapped. “But if he tries anything funny, I swear he's going to regret it.”

“I’m shaking already,” Alexander murmured, displaying a cruel smile as he grabbed his keycard.

I sighed sharply and headed toward the staircase to Room 45. Every step felt like a walk of shame. My cheeks burned at the memory of him barging in earlier.

Seeing me, naked, with my pink dildo inside my pussy, moaning in desperation before he shattered the moment.

Now, that same man was walking behind me. Ready to share the same room with me.

When we finally got inside, the air was thicker.

He threw his jacket on a chair, and began to loosen his tie, and sighed. “Home sweet home.”

“Don’t,” I warned, pointing my fingers at him. “Don’t you dare make yourself too comfortable. You sleep on the floor while I sleep on the bed.”

He raised an eyebrow in shock, his lips curving. “On the floor? You must be joking. Aren't you?”

“I’m dead serious.”

“I don’t sleep on the floor, sweetheart. And remember you're I'm offering to help. One more word like this from you and I will throw you out.

“And just so you know, I’m a billionaire. I’m not in your class.”

The words hit me like a slap. It reminded me of Sophia’s words.’

I swallowed hard and forced a smirk. “Good for you. Let’s hope your billions can buy you a conscience.”

“You should sleep on the couch.”

He looked at the couch and smiled.

“You’re funny.”

“You know what, we can share the bed. You stay on your side, I’ll stay on mine. Simple.”

“Simple? With you?”

Then went on to unbutton his shirt.

I froze. “What are you doing?”

“Changing,” he said casually, pulling the shirt off.

“Yiu should put that back!”

“Relax. You’ve already seen worse, remember?”

My jaw dropped. “You…”

I grabbed the pillow and threw it at him. He caught it easily and began to laugh.

My heart was beating fast as I climbed on the bed, facing the wall. The sheets were too soft, the air too heavy. The mattress dipped slightly when he got in beside me.

“Are you feeling cold?” he asked.

“I’m fine.”

“Do you feel hot?”

“It’s fine, Alexander.”

“Your voice says otherwise.”

I groaned. “Will you just shut up and sleep?

Hours passed and none of us were able to sleep.

“Stop staring,” I muttered.

He chuckled. “I’m not staring. Just observing.”

“Observing?” I snapped. “You think you know me because you saw me naked a few hours ago?”

Trust me, I remember every detail.”

“You disgust me.”

“Liar,” he said softly.

My pulse skipped.

He got up from the bed. “You know what? This is boring. Let’s play a game.”

“A game? At midnight?”

“Why not? You seem too restless to sleep.”

“I’m restless because you’re here. I couldn't stop imagining how you would fuck me if I slept off.”

“Then let’s make it fun,” he said, eyes glinting. “Poker. The winner gets to make a demand.”

I sighed, folding my arms. “Fine. But I’m warning you. I don’t lose easily.”

“Neither do I.”

Ten minutes later, the table between us was filled with cards and half-empty wine glasses.

“You cheated!” I said..

He raised an eyebrow, pretending to look innocent. “Me? Cheating?”

“You hid that card, don’t even deny it!”

He smirked. “Rules said nothing about hiding cards.”

I narrowed my eyes. “Fine. Let’s raise the stakes.”

His expression sharpened. “What do you have in mind?”

“Strip poker.”

He blinked, then grinned. “Didn’t think you had that in mind.”

“You scared?”

“Never.”

And just like that, everything changed.

The teasing turned slowly, deliberately.

Every time one of us lost, another layer of clothing fell away. The air thickened, heavy with heat and unspoken tension. My pulse raced, my palms sweating.

He leaned closer, his eyes flickering between my lips and my gaze. “You’re beautiful when you lie.”

When I finally lost the last hand, he leaned back, smug and devastatingly calm.

“Well, well,” he drawled. “Looks like I'm the winner.”

I forced a shaky breath. “What’s your demand?”

He tilted his head, his eyes burning into mine. “Simple,” he said, his voice dropping to a low, dark whisper. “Let me compensate you for that orgasm I interrupted.”

My stomach flipped. “You’re joking.” I couldn't say no to that face, that voice and that body?! Not when I was looking for something to distract myself.

His smile deepened. “Do I look like I’m joking?”

I took a deep breath, I couldn't wait for him to bounce on me while screaming his name.

He locked lips with me. We kissed roughly, tasting every inch of our mouth. I moaned from the kiss.

His hands trailed down my body as we moved slowly to the bed. He took off my clothes one after the other and his hands were quick to hold my breast and he squeezed it gently.

I grabbed his dick. It was hard and he pressed it on me. I let out a low moan, lost in my fantasy.

Soon, he closed the gap between us and pressed his dick inside my pussy. Fuck me harder I cried and he pounded on me faster.

After some minutes of pleasing and exploring each other, we lay on the bed and slept off.

I woke up before him the following morning and got out of bed, careful not to wake him up.

I dressed quietly, my fingers moved slowly as I wrote my number on a piece of paper

and dropped it on top of the table.

I walked out of the room and closed the door softly and walked away, hoping to receive a call from him.
