Chapter 4

Alexa’s POV

"Look how it's as though I'm missing them?" I scoff, crossing one of my arms against my chest, waiting for the line to be picked up.

"Hello," a deep, seductive voice comes up. I try to process it to see who it is by trying to remember the almost identical tones of each brother.

"Who is it?" I ask with a stern voice.

"Hahaha," he bursts into a sexy laugh which catches me off guard. My jaw drops as I imagine what to say next.

"Why the laugh?" I sound rude. I can't sound so simple to these crazy, wealthy and sexy bastards who believe they can get whatever they want with their beauty and charms.

"You don't have to sound rude to show that you're interested in us!"

"What!" I bark.

"Yes, nothing to hide!" He comes up firm on me. Then he scoffs. "There's nothing you can't hide from me. I can tell your mind from just hearing your tone!"

My lips shut tight, I can just listen but not able to say anything. Next thing I cut the call, breathing hard.

Now I know who he is, certainly he must be at work, Louise at school, and the rest are out too.

Louise returns later on in the afternoon after being dropped by her driver. I was thinking one of the Alphas would bring her back from school.

"When are your dads coming back?" I ask her. "Where do they work?" Even though I see her being too young to derive information about her dads which she might not know all, I've got no choice before curiosity kills me.

"They are coming back late in the evening." She replies as she stumps her legs playfully while on top of my laps.

"Wow, I can't wait!” I mutter without realizing.

I pull my thoughts immediately out, with a slight grin.

“I guess you have to marry them so you will become my official mom!" Louise spreads her hands so wide.

“Huh?” I gasp staring into her eyes with wide lips. “I'm here to work as your nanny, not to marry seven Alphas?”

“But your work doesn't stop you from being my mom and it doesn't stop you from seeing your mates in them.”

I fold my lips, looking away briefly as I hear her say this. “What's this girl thinking in her mind?” Seven mates is more than I can handle, probably I will exclude one and that will be Dustin.

I'm puzzled by such great personalities of these cute charming men who are supposed to be in their mid or late twenties. We chatted till the evening, around 7 PM. I set her to sleep, then return to the living room waiting for her dads' return. I suspected it was 8 PM. I hoped to stay awake till then but till I slept off, I didn't realize.

As I feel a warm, gentle touch on my shoulder, I jerk up, slowly opening my eyes to meet six eight pack abs men, shirtless, only in shorts staring at me with their gorgeous eyes. One is standing by the wall, staring at me.

That must be Dustin!

I flare my eyes so wide, scanning through my environment.

"What's going on?" I ask, staring at them. Each holds a lustful smirk on their faces, I trail behind their gaze to my body. I rise in shock, attempting to run off their presence but one of the brothers grabs me firmly by the hand.

I trail my eyes slowly on my body, I can't just believe that I just returned from the bathroom. I didn't see a towel to use, so I just put on a loose linen gown which I have among my clothes collection. I didn't want my undies to get wet. This with the hope of going in to dress up once my body gets dried. I sat by the fan to blow myself dry, not knowing I was slowly drifting to sleep.

My nipples protrude against the light piece of cloth. I gaze down and to my hips and ass, it sticks to my body, showing some of my skin. Shyness wants to kill me at this point seeing the triplet Alphas say nothing but devor me with their hungry, lustful eyes.

Tension gradually builds up in my chest, my chest ripples with sensations mixed with varieties of feelings, which fear gets to be among as I observe their size should something happen between us.

I feel this throbbing sensation in my core, my veins pulsating. My bad, I didn't put on either a bra or panties. The gown I'm wearing just stops mid-hip.

How am I going to explain to these dads that I wasn't trying to seduce them but mistakenly fell asleep?

"Is there any need to do that?" My wolf, who has been excited since morning when she happened to meet them for the first time, says.

Austin gently pushes me to the couch and squats in between me, supporting his chin while staring at me. "Why are you afraid? We will be gentle on you!"

Hearing this, I know I'm finished. My breath begins to pour out heavily. My eyes scan between the two Alphas who suddenly sit beside me, one on each side with Justin in between me. Though I'm wearing a cloth, I feel so exposed with my wolf getting more excited each passing second.

"Let them touch you!" She says.

"Alexa," Dustin calls, walking up to me. Justin as well reaches out to me, his hand resting on my hip. I slowly lift my eyes from his hand on my lap to his eyes, I sense hunger, a burning desire for me which can't be quenched. When I thought it's only him, I shifted my gaze to his brothers. They each possess that fire in their eyes.

"Since our mate died, we haven't had anything to do with any woman both outside and inside this house.” Dustin says.

“I wonder why our wolves want you this much!" Justin replies to him. His tone alone carries me away, making me want to blush.

It's such a special thing hearing the controllers of the Avalon Pack, the largest pack in the world, want me. According to fashion model magazines, they were considered the three most eligible bachelors in the world for eight consecutive years.

I can't hold my blush forever, I finally blush slightly as the tickling effects of having such hot guys around me trying to seduce me overwhelm me.

Next second, their hands begin to roam, my heart wants to rip off my chest as loud and hasty beats can be heard from my chest. I really don't realize when the sweetness of their hands fondling my body got to my head and I got completely soaked in passion.

Austin grabbed my waist gently, Justin spread my legs wider slowly, the tension in my core triples. My eyes locked gaze with his, his darkened, dull eyes tells me he's really gone far in his urge. Slowly I felt a hand drool over my shoulders, dropping on my right breast and one of his fingers directly on top of my nipple, quite hardened and protruding from my wet linen gown.

I look at him in shock but he sends more shock across my veins as his other hand travels to my hip, trailing fingers to the inside just a little bit away from my core.

"Gosh!" I shake my head, no longer able to withstand the pleasure that's coming from these hot guys.

"I thought you hated me?" I murmur at Dustin remembering how he treated me when I first met him. "This, because you promised your late mate never to--"

"What if you replace her?"

I gasp at Dustin's response, narrowing my eyes in surprise. Will I be able to handle these seven hot Alphas forever? My look gets laced with surprise seeing the seriousness about this from their faces.

—---------

I look around, sniffing the air to see if anyone is home, I'm not actually sending anyone. I hold my chest realizing I'm the only one in the entire mansion. I want to wonder how the seven Alphas evade not feeling alone having to live here alone, how will they feel lonely when they are seven with a little daughter?

I suppose the workers here, like cleaning staff properly, have their own quarters faraway, because I don't see anyone around this side.

I turn the back of the paper, luckily a number is written. I pull out my phone quickly and dial the number. I wonder which of them is this. Well, I just need to call.

"Look how it's seeming as though I'm missing them?" I scoff, crossing one of my arms against my chest, waiting for the line to be picked up.

"Hello," a deep, seductive voice comes up. I try to process it to see who it is by trying to remember the almost identical tones of each brother.

Rising From Ruin: The Discarded Heiress Novel Cover

I woke up in a sterile hospital room, my body feeling like a hollowed-out shell. For fifteen years, I had been the "spare part" of the wealthy Kensington family, a foster child kept only as a biological resource for their golden daughter, Jenna. My adoptive mother, Kathryn, walked in with a cold-eyed doctor, discussing me like an old car needing parts. They were planning another bone marrow "harvest" for the next morning, even though the doctor admitted the procedure was risky because my body hadn't recovered from the last extraction. "Passable is fine," Kathryn said, waving away the danger to my life like she was swatting a fly. "Just get it done. It's her only value." Jenna arrived in a wheelchair, putting on a performance of fragile sisterly love while actually glowing with health from the blood I had given her months ago. I watched as the doctor callously jabbed a needle into my arm, missing the vein on purpose, before turning off my pain medication pump as a final act of petty cruelty. They left me there to rot, convinced I was just a dull, submissive girl with nowhere to go. I lay in the silence, feeling the weight of every scrap they’d fed me and every hand-me-down I’d worn while Jenna lived in luxury. I realized I was never a daughter to them; I was an organ farm meant to be drained until I was empty. But as the door clicked shut, the fog of sedation in my brain finally lifted, replaced by a cold, predatory stillness. "Oracle," my mind whispered. "Online." I ripped the IV from my arm and escaped into the night, turning a five-dollar piece of junk into a six-million-dollar fortune in the city's darkest underground markets. By the time I returned to the Kensington Manor, I wasn't the useless foster girl they remembered—I was a predator with a massive bank account and a plan to take back everything they stole from me.
