Chapter 1

Elena Pov

In front of me is the image I had painted and on it is the familiar figure of the man holding the paper, but somehow, it was a totally different image of him.

On a chair was Alpha Marcus naked with long white hair that scattered around his chest making him look ethereal. He looked like he was from the ancient days, he looked majestic and even more beautiful.

I couldn't take my eyes away from what I had drawn and I can't bring myself to believe that I drew that.

My breathing staggered, my fist clenched and my heart pounded against my ribs.

The image looked straight at me and I swear that I could feel my soul being forcefully extracted from my body.

I gaped, unable to believe the beauty of what I had painted.

The Marcus in the painting looked even more pronounced. His eyes stared at me proudly like the king he was, but the expression on his face made me weak in my knees—Seductive. Cold, but enchantingly provocative, making one go lost.

I stood there, unable to take my eyes off that painting that entranced my soul.

“Are you done staring?”

“W..What..?!”

A chuckle responded.

I swallowed and finally returned my attention to the man holding the painting.

He stared at me deeply, but from his expression, I couldn't get what was on his mind but somehow, I knew it wasn't anything good from the way my bones shook from his stare.

Marcus slowly lowered his hand that held the painting, and when I thought he was going to say something, he turned around proudly and left without a word.

My heart skipped a beat. I stood there, speechless as I watched his cold back as he walked away. I wished I could call him back, I wanted to ask him if he was angry, if I had done anything wrong, if…if he liked the painting, and… If I were still getting punished, but my throat just couldn't bring out a word. My lips parted but I could say nothing.

The night air hit me and my body shivered, it was like it was snapping me back to reality.

It felt like whatever had happened today was unreal. The warmth that soon turned to surging fire, then coldness again. Everything felt surreal and my heart couldn't help but clench at the thought that this might be the end.

“He wouldn't talk to me anymore? Maybe he is disgusted by me.”

My head raised to look at the starry night, and a plain smile appeared on my face.

“At least I gained something,” I muttered to myself.

Yes, I gained something. Now I’m assured that Alpha Marcus won't act like I never confessed to him once. Now he knows how much I desire him. He knows I want him and I'm obsessed with him. So, I don't need to hide anymore and I can seduce him, look at him boldly, and proudly fight for him.

Thinking about this is beautiful, but reality…?

***

The sound of my slippers hitting the floor echoed in the quiet space but I also wasn't trying to hide it because I wanted someone to hear it.

I pursed my lips the moment I got to the top of the stairs. I looked towards the place where Marcus’s room is situated and the urge to walk towards his room enticed me but I resisted and only gave the space a look of disappointment, then walked back towards my room.

I don't know what I'm disappointed about, or… maybe I know.

I changed into something else, ready to knock the bed, but as I lay on the bed, my mind was so active with lots of thoughts.

I thought about my imagination when I sat on that chair to draw, I thought about the ethereal painting—that's the most perfect image I had ever painted and now I believe, Alpha Marcus is my muse.

A smile tugged at the corner of my lips as I recalled how he had caught me filming him, and how he had threatened me. His naked chest that enticed me to lick him, his wet lips that called for me to suck them, his biceps that shook as he walked, his huge thighs that made me want to kneel to worship them, his wet hair that made me almost give in, his eyes that always stared into mine like he wanted to capture my soul and punish it until he knows every of my secret.

His mint scent that teases my inside and makes my toes curl. His touches that make my stomach flutter and his big dick—

I snapped my eyes closed and rolled on the bed as my mind was filled with the image of that bulge I had seen. I licked my lips naughtily.

“Opps! I need to save those videos and separate them into different files. Where is my phone?” I muttered a question, then immediately stood up to look for my phone.

I walked around the room in search of it, but it was nowhere to be found, but then, I decided to search for it at the poolside.

I don't want to miss those videos I had taken with difficulty. In haste, I walked out and rushed to the poolside, but when I got there, it was empty, and even the easel I had drawn on was nowhere to be seen.

I stood there speechless, confused.

I looked around the place in deep thought, but then, an image of a man appeared in my mind—

“Marcus.”
