Chapter 5

LILA

I stare with my mouth open at the blue eyed wolf with white fur that currently has my cousin and best friend captive.

"Please let them go," I stammer.

The wolf literally rolls its eyes on me and looks at me like I'm asking the most ridiculous thing on earth.

It sighs and releases its grip on them, "i don't believe you don't recognize what your own wolf looks like Lila." a feminine voice says which comes from the wolf.

What the freak is this wolf talking about?

For all I know I've been alive for 26 years without a wolf.

"I beg your pardon?" Nic asks mirroring my confusion while Andrea manages to regain her breath.

"Listen here girl, when the moon goddess gave you a second chance I was activated to protect you so you don't make stupid decisions like you're about to."

I stand staring at my wolf dumbfounded, it means the moon goddess must have brought me back to life for a good reason if she activated my wolf.

"And what decision exactly are you talking about ? For all I know we've been protecting her just fine !" Andrea asks my wolf, doubt lacing in her eyes.

" You want her to hide away when that is not the moon goddess's plan for her. She must have her revenge on Sebastian, he has to suffer for what he has done."

I think on the words for a second, even if I wanted my revenge how would I do it when I'm sure if Sebastian saw me I'd be dead on the spot?

"How are we going to do it?" I voice my thoughts.

" Girl why aren't you determined ? I don't know about you but I'm not going to let Sebastian get away with what he did to our family. You're going to change your identity and get your revenge ! "

As soon as my wolf says this, I feel a heavy sensation as we become one and I know that she's right.

Revenge on Sebastian is the only way to Avenge my family.

When I face the mirror, I feel like I'm looking like a completely different person, the only thing that makes me feel like myself is my blue eyes.

How am i going to get close enough to Sebastian to make him pay with everything he holds dear?

Yes Nicolas is the best witch and has made me look like a different person but..,

"We have found the solution to our problem !" Nic says stepping in and handing me his phone.

"The famous Billionaire Alpha of the Hale moon pack has come with a proposition for all the young ladies under 28 years.

In order for Alpha Sebastian to get access to all his inheritance he must be married and he is in need of a suitable bride so there will be a contest  in two and the most suitable bride will be selected.

Good luck ladies!"

This didn't sound like the Sebastian I knew but that's no longer my problem, I'm going to take part of this contest and win no matter what.

"What are we waiting for then? we have a contest to win," I smirk handing him back his phone.

•••

I didn't think it would be so difficult but the past couple do days have been torture.

If Andrea wasn't forcing me to eat food that rich people thought was nice, Nicolas was forcing me to learn how to walk in a pair of heels.

"You're not doing it right Lila, that's not how you walk  in heels, one step at a time, you don't gallop like a horse!, " he commanded.

My ankles were sprained from exerting pressure on them and I had developed bruises all around.

I wiped sweat from my forehead and pleaded, "please can I take a break?"

"Don't be ridiculous Lila, it's only been two hours. who knows how long your'e going to have to walk in heels for."

"I'm sure rich people take breaks Nic," I whined.

"Nonsense, get back to work."

We continued like that for what felt like hours until he finally felt I had worked enough but he didn't even give me a break.

Nic took us to stores for shopping but we didn't have any money so he placed spells on the store keepers so they let us take designer items from Dior and Chanel and use the dressing rooms until we were satisfied.

We finally stopped for a break and had dinner before Andrea lead us to the last activity of the day.

"Why are we in a forest Andrea you know I have trauma from here."

She waved her hands, "You have nothing to worry about girl, this is not rogue property." she assured me though i didn't feel any better.

I still felt unease creeping my skin and very jumpy from just the sounds of our feet.

"Relax girl," my wolf murmured and only then was k able to calm down.

"So we are going to be testing your strength. You're an Omega which makes you have the prettiest white fur but in order to compete against other wolves you have to be strong."

"So how can I build my strength then?"

She smiled wickedly, "You run!"

My wolf is relishing the moment as we sprint around the forest but it's a different case for me, I wanted to stop but she took control and didn't let me until Andrea said it was enough.

"Do you hate me Andy?" I asked panting as I came back from the last sprint.

"No, I love you more. I'm doing this so you can secure your place and avenge your family, so if that isn't still your plan, you can quit. "

I let out a growl  as I come back to my human formi didn't even know was possible to produce and she pats my head with a proud smile on her lips.

"That's the spirit,"she murmurs.

"Now for the last activity, " she says and before I'm able to blink, she grabs me forcefully and throws me over a clif.

The clerk at the Registry couldn't look me in the eye when she turned the screen around. My status didn't say "Luna" anymore. It said "Rogue." My mate, Alpha Jackson, had secretly replaced me on the official paperwork three years ago with his mistress, Candida. "Since you are barren, he will be the future Alpha." I tried to accept my fate as a servant in my own home, but they wanted me dead. The boy, looking like an angel, brought me a bowl of soup. "For you, Mama," he smiled. But as I reached for it, he splashed the scalding liquid over my hands. It wasn't just hot soup. It was laced with concentrated Wolfsbane. As my skin sizzled and peeled, the boy threw himself on the floor, screaming that I had attacked him. Jackson didn't check my burns. He didn't listen to my pleas. "Submit!" he roared, using the Alpha Command to force me to my knees. He made me apologize to the child who had just poisoned me. That night, listening to Jackson mate with Candida in the room next to mine, the bond finally snapped. They wanted the Luna gone? Fine. I dialed a number I hadn't used in years.
