Chapter 7

“What do you mean?” I question, pulling myself off the floor in a sitting position.

“I do not like to repeat myself.” he glares at me, his muscles flexing under his white singlet.

My throat bobs as I watch his arms flex, he narrows his eyes at me shaking his head, and murmuring a word I think is “Whore.”

I snap my eyes away, refusing my head from noticing anything about his body again.

I refuse to think about his gorgeous green eyes, or how his arms flex in his singlet when he clenches his fist, or how his tattoos seem larger up close, or how his tongue unconsciously darts out to lick his bottom lips when he is thinking or….

Christ Mia, stop!!!

Bring your head back to the situation at the hand. Stop thinking about how his hands would feel if they trails down my back as he…..

Damnit!!!!

“Why did I have to stay here?” I whine, stomping my foot.

His mouth moves into a smirk as his eye shine with a glint, he pinches his nose, and scoffs.

“Because the man that came for you wants to kill you because you saved me.” he grumbles again.

I can't still believe he acted like he didn't know me all this while.

“I never asked you to intervene, I wouldn't have died either way.” he groans, pushing himself off the table.

He walks to the window, pressing a button by the side of the wall, the curtains pulls open.

“I saw someone in need of help. I was just being niceeee!!!” I huff, pouting like a baby.

He turns around, his eyes immediately darting to my lips. He licks his lips, making them even pinker than it was.

They look so full, delicious, eatable. I stand up slowly sitting on the bed.

My gown rides up, exposing some thighs. His eyes falls to my laps as he stalk forward.

Stopping in front of me, he lowers his head. Some strands of hair falls over his face covering the left part of his gorgeous eyes.

Those eyes shouldn't be hidden with that thought I reach out, slowly tucking the stray hair behind his ear.

It's like we are in a spell, I trace my fingers down his cheeks resting them on his jaw. His face looks relaxed, his lips parts as he stares into my eyes with what I know is deep desire.

Electricity bubbles through me as butterflies explodes in my belly the moment he rests into my touch.

A sound blared loudly into the air, snapping us out of whatever spell we were in.

He straightened up, turning away from me to take his call.

“On it.” he says, cutting the call.

When he turns away the soft look is gone replaced by his usual poker look. Taking a closer look, his shoulders are tensed, his muscles keeps flexing beneath his singlet, and his jaw is clenched so hard it's a miracle his teeth are still working..

“My men will bring your belongings over. Do not leave.” he growls.

“What is—”

He walks out without waiting to hear the end of my sentence.

“---going on?” I mumble the last part to myself.

Great. He left, he freaking left after the moment we just had.

What was I thinking? Why would I let that happen?

I groan, hitting my head over, and over again.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. I am so stupid goshhh.

For a moment he was soft, he was nice. For a moment he didn't look at me with disgust like he usually did at the office.

Why am I even thinking about him? Why am I thinking about the way his lips works or how his muscles moves.

I can't stop thinking about those green eyes, that reminds me of nature.

Those beautiful—-

Not again!!!!

I can't be attrac— eeww I can't even say it. It's not true, it's not.

It's been a while since I got laid so that's probably the reason for the extra notice.

Yeap, it has to be it.

Staying in this room won't help me, if I am going to live here which I will not. I better go for a tour, and who is a better tour guide than moi.

Jumping up, I rush to the door. The handle is silver, I wonder for a split second if it is actually silver.

I pry open the door slowly looking left, and right the hall. Once the coast is clear, I slip out of the door, closing it slowly behind me.

The hall is painted white, I stride down the hall passing different doors as I go.

There is a lady scrubbing the floor, her black skirt so skimpy if she bends a little more her ass would be in show, her top is cut in a V shape exposing a whole lot of cleavage.

She wipes a strand of hair away as she scrubs the floor repeatedly. I stop right beside her, her knee is pressed to the floor so hard it will bruise.

“Umm, hello?” I try to greet.

She doesn't raise her head or acknowledge me, she just keeps working.

“Um, I am just going for a tour, nothing much.” I giggle waving my hands about.

Okay!!!

I move on, walking away from her.

Well, that was weird as fuck. The whole place is painted white, the tiles is white too.

The hall is endlessly with so many doors it makes my head spin, I finally locate the stairs.

I rush down the spiral stairs to the living room, it's huge. The TV is so large, it should be about 50 inches or so.

I know nothing about TV’s. Their are three couches, a L shaped one with two C shaped ones.

Men linger around wearing white suits, standing at strategic places with earpiece stringed from their ear to the back of their neck.

Are they bodyguards or what? I look around swiftly, maids are shuffling about cleaning rapidly.

I try talking to any of them, but none of them of them replies or even answers.

It's like they are scared to even speak to me, like them answering me would lead to their death.

How does Mr Antonio survive in a house like this?

None of my business anyway.

I turn around moving to the other side of the room, their is a hall different front the one upstairs and the walls are painted black.

I can barely see inside, squinting my eyes shut I try to discourage myself from going there.

I mean so what if the other places in the house are painted white and there is painted black?

It makes no differences whatsoever.

I know I shouldn't go there, but will I?

Of fucking course.

I am too curious not to.

I duck down, stylishly walking to the hall. Two men dressed in black suits comes out of the hall, staring daggers at me.

“You are not allowed in here, ever.” he growls, emphasizing on the word ever.

“I just want to do a tour, no biggie.” I put in my heart stopping smile popping my dimples to make me look more charming.

The other guy face softens, a small smile touches his lips. He opens his mouth to speak, but Mr grumpy interrupts, “Leave.”

I narrow my eyes at him, stomping my foot like a spoilt brat, and march away.

If they won't talk to me I might as well have fun by myself. A smirk spreads around my lips as an idea crawls into my mind.

You are going to regret this. My subconscious snarls at me.

Pfft… What could possibly go wrong?
